From what I have seen so far it was very well organised, police obviously trawl social media, but this time it seems they were caught unaware, for the numbers involved it is quite alarming.

Nah, it's a move to obfuscate the question of who is responsible for ensuring electoral integrity and MP's standards.

Worked well for Boris's ABBA party.

Somewhat ironic how crypto was designed to be anonymous and allow people to trade freely away from the prying eye of the state, yet a crypto billionaire cant find a way to slip a politician a few million quid without everyone in the country knowing about it
Report Escapee September 11, 2026 3:30 AM BST
complete myth that crypto was designed to be anonymous.

It's a public blockchain, every bitcoin transaction from the year dot is there to see on thousands, maybe  millions of computers.

If you want your bitcoin to be anonymous you have to 'wash' it in much the same way as any fiat currency.
Report Escapee September 11, 2026 3:51 AM BST
Most of the actual hard, "caught red handed" evidence that the pertinent donations in question broke money laundering laws comes from Bitcoins blockchain.

The evidence is irrefutable, the only way out is to obfusecate who is responsible for holding him to account.

Somewhat ironic they called it crypto which quite literally means to hide

A crook, pardoned by Trump. Who'd have thought it?
Report SirNorbertClarke September 13, 2026 11:59 PM BST
Surely donations should only come from UK residents who pay tax on all their income.

What next? China sponsoring Restore?

A ridiculous analogy Nobby.

On that basis, do you therefore think Ben Delo should not be giving away his fortune to good causes as per the following ?

Philanthropy
In 2020, he co-founded the Sheila Coates Foundation, which supports students with autism in Britain.[3] In 2025, he funded the Ben Delo Fellowship at the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences.[17] In 2026, he gave £25 million to his autism charity the Sheila Coates Foundation,[18][19] and pledged an additional £20 million to the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences.[19]

He has pledged to give most of his fortune away in his lifetime, so why shouldn't he support a political party ? As he has said , he just wants Reform to be on a level playing field with the big established parties, who obviously are petrified of such a prospect.

The media are shamelessly determined to stop Reform, as they were to stop Brexit.
Let's hope they fail again.

Donny's trying to come to terms with his footy team not being able to spend the money they have in order to compete, due to the regulations favouring the cartel of clubs at the top who already have a "locked in" advantage.

Which is rather ironic given Reform are now potentially facing the same kind of problem Laugh
