Her film 'Here I am' is currently on the BBC iplayer, probably will watch it as knew very little about her really. Seems as said above she was a very good person.

Dolly was a top balladeer of the 20th century, hard to name many others in her league.
Not many poets, not many anybody at all, turn their gift into a the gift of 100 million books to children. The oppotunities those kids (now people) got from her kindness, from her simply just providing them with the means to an education because she could. She created a wealth for millions that will flow and grow through generations. P.S.
