If they've got a kid, the scam is dla
perhaps labour will run on a ticket of even more benefits for the feckless :)
Well, they've been in government 2 years?
Have they given more benefits to the feckless?
I know they put up minimum wage, but you could hardly call that giving more benefits to the feckless unless you were a billionaire.
Have they given more money to the feckless as your nightmares keep telling you they will?
to encourage their children to start apprenticeships, the government has said.

Some parents on benefits will be given up to £4,500 a year Laugh to encourage their children to start apprenticeships, the government has said.
Under plans to encourage young people into work, families will be offered a bursary to replace Universal Credit payments lost by starting jobs Laugh
The payment is expected to benefit an estimated few thousand households, who currently face losing between £17 and £330 a week if their children start apprenticeships Laugh .
So the government are topping up an aprentice wages, subsidising a company so it gets a really cheap employee.
Aprentice gets and education leading to a lifetime of better paid work, pays more taxes, government recoups cost.
The people who read the telegraph call this an investment, the people who read the express call the aprentices feckless.
I dunno Cider, it's a chancey bet, may work, may not.
Doesn't seem like you've chosen a prime example of labour giving money to the feckless to me, but I don't read the express.
And if you think they won't skip the apprenticeship once the cash has been paid out, you really do need your bumps felt.
Like wise, companies will abuse the scheme and have a rolling supply of very cheap labour, and also abuse it by setting up schemes where the apprentice has very little uplift prospects and the end of it.
Abusers will abuse.
On the flipside, someone like me, back in the day decided I should try a career instead of a job, got myself on the Employment Training scheme which bestowed an extra tenner on myself for 12 weeks on part time course.
I never looked back, ran with it, never been on the dole since and have paid a couple of £million more in tax than likely would have without that E.T. "extra tenner" scheme.
The feckless will never lift themselves up even if you offer them a hand, but not everybody is feckless so do you stop offering them a hand up also?
Farage no where to be seen at the press conference, has he talked to the press since his huge win against a dustbin?
How long will he stay in hiding in fear of press questions?

I forgive you for not noticing, Andy Burnham is the prime minister.
How can Andy Burnham be " the prime minister avoiding questions for months " if he's only been Prime minister for a Month?
But I guess as a cultist, this is your destiny, to squirm and scweam, to deflect and defend on behalf of any polititian from the same cult, no matter what they do that should be called out.
Good luck with that, silly way to lead a life imho, but hey ho.
