PM Burnham has indicated the early release policy of the most vile and dangerous prisoners will be reviewed eg the killers of PC Harper, murderers, grooming gangs, rapists, etc. At the moment any prisoner only needs to serve 1/3 of their given sentence. The present Labour MPs voted down an earlier review.

I'd like to know the names of the Labour MPs who voted down an earlier review.

When Timpson resigned a few days ago what struck me on the bbc's report was his successor doesn't know what's around the corner, thought that was such an odd thing to say.
Agree with your posts above, where are these early released prisoners ,extra prisons should be built and staffed going to go? they haven't built approved premises for their release afaik.
Hospitals, schools, well maintained roads are also a measure of success along with law and order,it takes some optimist to see they can be improved or even stagnated, the rest is waffle until things are getting better instead of worse.
