No contradiction in those statements. There is no doubt that Farage is black or white with the Voting public. Binface was the only one of the 30+ other candidates who anyone had heard of so he got nearly all of the anti Farage votes. There would have been a vociferous protest group at the count and by avoiding it, Farage removed their chance of publicity.

How much is left after Reform's Cryptoassets and Digital Finance Bill?

It proposes tax cuts: Reduce capital gains tax on eligible cryptoasset gains down to a flat 10%.

It's as blatant a bung as you are ever going to get.  Still what's wrong with a billionaire paying 10% when junior doctors pay marginal rates up to 71%?

I'd assume that if you voted "Leave" and even if you voted "Remain", but more so if you voted Leave, you are quite attached to the GBP and glad we never adopted the Euro.  Yet Reform's only draft bill expressly proposes to "Immediately terminate all ongoing research and development into a potential digital pound"

That's not even consider it and to dismiss it out of hand.  Not even the merest discussion on the pros and cons.   Consign the GBP to the dustbin.  It's a policy completely at odds with British Independence.

What percentage of voters in Clacton have any idea of what is written in that Bill?  Possibly less than 0.1%.  What percentage of people in The Standards Committee investigating the £5m gift are aware of it?  I'd hope all of them.

And why should Christopher Harborne pay 10% on his crypto gains?  Currently it's 24%.

Turning up or not, completely irrelevant in the big picture. A total non story.

But not turning up meant the opportunity to engineer fake humour about who he was 'standing with' was removed. As was any kind of organised disruption that was planned.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense would determine that not showing up was prudent.

Well Clydebank that really is the issue here.

People can vote for what they like but there's always some committee that can overrule them and suspend the candidate that they elected because of abitrary'standards'.

Of course people in Clacton who were motivated enough to vote were well aware of the £5M but they don't care, as they are not supporting Farage because of belief in his personal probity

Arguably they do count as the ultimate sanction is a recall petition and a by election. As I've always stated, Farage cut the punishment of process, straight to the ultimate sanction.

ie, they just had what they claim they want.

The warped world of the left actually apparently think that thousands of people will abandon Farage when the blob inevitably formalises his guilt, when they already treat him as if he is guilty and have done for many months Laugh

That point has merit tober
But it become moot if the democracy decides to put in place a standards comittee and delegate powers to it as part of it's structure to defend it's integrity.

The clacton democracy delegate their power to the central democracy, it can not pick and choose what ensues
from that delegation.

Therefore your valid argument has been negated by dint of delegation to the point it is void at parliamentary level.
