Surely Bibi ensures it falls apart on point one within a week.

Surprised the clown hasn't come on here to praise Trump for this deal.
Report brentford June 17, 2026 11:57 PM BST
It's a massive embarrassment for Trump and his deranged, narcissistic lunacy...

The only thing more embarrassing is that within a certain group (certainly not all btw - I know it's standard to assume) of what we currently call left wing politics there's a celebration of Iran getting the upper hand here - and they have...

many head wobbles required...
Report Escapee June 18, 2026 12:13 AM BST
We live in head wobbling times.
Report lapsy pa June 18, 2026 8:07 AM BST
Back to the 'deal' before Operation Epic Fury, never a need for a shot to be fired.
Not so much celebrating the 'upper hand' for Iran really but more a stop to the gallop with Israels 'plans' for the region, nothing at all morally right there.

When the Betair Nazis can't even talk this deal up it leaves me wondering just who won this war?
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 18, 2026 10:49 AM BST
Before the conflict China was buying oil from Iran at $5 a barrel and now it's going to have to be sold to Europe. Great news for Europe but I suppose that's a bad thing if you are a cheerleader for China.
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 18, 2026 10:55 AM BST
You really think China and Iran aren't gonna work a way around that?

Have you paid any attention to the trade embargo on Russia in the last few years?
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 18, 2026 11:03 AM BST
If they have to supply more oil to Europe it means less will be available for China and it won't be for $5.
Report Escapee June 18, 2026 11:28 AM BST
Magaloons: "Everyone has to pay 50% more for oil to stop china paying $5"

Removing the China discount makes the price go up for everyone else? I thought I was supposed to be the clown.

This has gone on for centuries mate
Report lapsy pa June 19, 2026 11:16 AM BST
Yes CL,there is a potential for peace in the region currently if the Iran deal was implemented well from both sides. A fair 2 state in Palestine needed but not allowed to happen is a lot of what has gone wrong along with 'expansion'.
Maybe if those October elections go ahead it might bring a few change of heads which could only be a good thing.
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 11:23 AM BST
Republicans need to realise they are the last people standing defending these terrorists. Israel believe they can carry on and America will always have their back. Needs to be a co-ordinated financial message from America and the Gulf States that they are now considered war criminals and all investment is ended. Bring Israel to its knees, then bring Bibi and Ben Gvir to the Hague, and then you might have a chance of peace in the region.
Report SirNorbertClarke June 19, 2026 12:45 PM BST
Kier Starmer is a staunch supporter of Israel, only imposing token sanctions and trying to stop the ICC prosecuting Netanyahu and his genocide buddies the IDF.

Starmer has plenty of blood on his hands.
Report lapsy pa June 19, 2026 12:48 PM BST
Some of the problem re other countries being 'quiet' isn't Israels atrocities but an American investment backlash.
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 1:15 PM BST
yeah, that's why the onus has to be on America themselves. If this carries on the Gulf States' whole business model collapses, America runs out of oil and the whole global economy collapses. All because Ben Gvir is a massive racist who wants to wipe muslims off the face of the earth. I know we've traditionally supported Israel in general but this is pretty high stakes now.
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 19, 2026 4:16 PM BST
Which Republicans are defending the Iranian terrorists?
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 4:19 PM BST
(to me?) apols, maybe a deleted post I've missed.

I'll let whoever it was who said they were defending Iran answer. I'm saying they're defending Israel though.
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 19, 2026 4:21 PM BST
Yes you said Republicans need to realise they are the last people standing defending these terrorists
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 5:00 PM BST
ahh ok. I meant Israeli terrorists, not Iranian ones.

sheesh
Report Escapee June 19, 2026 5:01 PM BST
clown turns up, posts start getting deleted.
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 19, 2026 5:28 PM BST
It's only natural to assume you are talking about Iran considering they have funded terrorism for years. I don't know how anyone can side with them. Russia has been using Iranian supplied drones against Ukraine.
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 5:35 PM BST
Well I'm happy to correct you.

And I'll let someone who's actually sided with Iran comment on your second bit (might be a while tho).
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 19, 2026 5:54 PM BST
The way you are calling Israel terrorists and not Iran, who are known for terrorism, is a clue to  which side you are taking.
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 19, 2026 6:14 PM BST
Didn't know I needed to list all terrorist orgs for the pedantics.

Maybe you've got a list to hand and I can just say yes or no.

Very kind of you.
Report lapsy pa June 19, 2026 6:18 PM BST
Would you think it fair if they were labelled 'genocidists' or something along those lines Ron?
Report Ronaldmcdonald June 19, 2026 6:53 PM BST
I don't think Iran's actions to date meet the threshold of genocide.
Report lapsy pa June 19, 2026 6:54 PM BST
You're right there Ron.
