It was a labour relic 'lord', who had not heard of Rhiannon Whyte. Genuinely claimed that he should have been briefed that he might be asked about the case.

It was obviously, deliciously ironic as he had just been trying to maintain that the Westminster bubble aren't out of touch with the public mood.

Thanks cider. Fair play to the old duffer going on there. Surprised he didn't know who Rhiannon was. But still, at least he went on there. And tbh I thought she was quite abrupt and harsh with him at times even though I mostly agreed with her.

The channel invites plenty of lefties on there despite what others mistakenly say.
Some of them are quite reasonable as well which makes for decent discussion.
To be fair to Foulkes he is quite often on there and has some decent banter with a couple of the other presenters

Abrupt yes but as I said on the by election thread, northerners don't tend to tolerate being bullshined very well. She can be like that with the other side of the table too.

The irony of course is that all broadcast media before gbn was tilted to liberalists. gbn comes on the scene and people are offended that they are biased. they certainly are. but there is bbc, itv, sly, lbc, c4 all equally biased, but on the liberalist side. but gbn is the problem being the only broadcaster biased towards the domestically patriotic (the people, one might say) :)

coincidentally enough, gbn is probably the only national broadcaster where you hear authentic regional English accents and opinions.
