I thought that as well nanny when I saw it earlier.

It reads more like he bumped in to some meth head when he was wandering round his local harbour late after midnight though. Just walking the dog, obviously....

Starmer and Burnham, couple of career civil servants that have fleeced the nation for millions.

Labour hammered the ordinary dude that tried to get ahead and own a few properties, meanwhile stamerer builds a property portfolio of his own.

Burnham in bed with with Developers, handing them millions in cheap public munee loans whilst  denying need for   affordable  housing in said developments.

Hypocritical Champagne socialists.

Things can only get wurserer under these clowns.

Straight from the MAGA playbook.  Make a continuous song and dance from someone putting a couple of beers on expenses, while simultaneously stealing millions of dollars in broad daylight

Dear Jeff (Bezos) we've calculated your tax due for the year and after applying all the deductions we've calculated that we owe you $50 million

Would be hilarious if it wasn't true

I agree with bread butter, the ordinary guy,who works hard and manages to own a few properties,is persecuted by this government.yet they all own properties as well.

I was in spoons earlier, and my ordinary mates, were bemoaning how stressful it was owning 5/6 properties.

Starmers a joke,a qualified lawyer who rose to be the best in his field, could of gone and made money in the private sector, but no,he fleeced the nation working for the DPP,now he’s raking it in asa MP,PM.

And burnham, another civil servant milking the tax payer.

Jacob Rees mogg,as made his own money though his investment fund he manages, now, fair enough he’s been an MP all his life, and his now in the House of Lords.

But he’s not a career politician like Starmer and burnham,he’s a career lord.

Given personalised iPhone algorithms, democracy is lost.once people click on a subject, they are then lost forever.

They all repeat the same phrases,

From Starmer getting a freejacket. Seeming equal to Boris giving out millions in PPE contracts to his mates.

Musk didn’t buy twitter cos he liked it,

If you bombard someone with the same info, everyday for 4 years, they believe it .

The difference today compared to yesteryear ,is,it’s personalised.not main stream.

So it’s impossible to convince them it’s wrong.

If Zach Polanski had been liable to pay Council Tax the local council would have sent him a Council Tax bill. They didn't. I'm not sure why Polanski is being persecuted for not paying a bill he didn't receive but there it is. As I understand it in certain circumstances people living on a barge/narrow boat are exempt from paying Council Tax. One can only assume this is what happened with regard to Zach Polanski? Instead of bellyaching about Polanski not paying Council Tax anyone with a problem about it should have taken the matter up with Polanski's local council.
Report DixieDean60 June 8, 2026 1:03 PM BST
Don't think that's right Blakey.

If you move in to a new home it's up to you to contact the council to register for council tax, how are they going to know you live there otherwise ?

Same with a narrowboat, if it's a residential mooring and essentially your home then you should let the council know - in many areas you will be liable for council tax, they all have different rules. But it was up to Polanski or his partner to check if they had to pay -nobody else. He really should have known this and has no excuse imo.
Report Shrewd_dude June 8, 2026 1:29 PM BST
You will only get a council tax bill sent if the previous occupier informs the council they are moving out.

The council wouldn’t have a clue there was a new boat there and the circumstances of the owners until they were informed.

They can hardly  just bill an empty stretch of water when they previous boat had left.
Report sageform June 9, 2026 12:04 PM BST
That may be true with boats. The TVL authority seem quite determined to get fees from empty properties how ever often you inform them that a property is vacant.
