Can anyone tell me what this trial was For ?
The bloke who attacked the WPCs has been banged up for 10 months. Already found Guilty He will be sentenced on 26 June. Did anyone know this ? I didnt

The little rat looking fell was convicted of assaulting the WPC and breaking her nose at the initial trial. The jury couldn't reach a verdict on the alleged assault by him and the porky one on the armed copper.
They were re tried for it and again the jury couldn't reach a verdict (wonder why?). So now the rat looking one will be sentenced at some point for assaulting the WPC which he is currently on remand for and is not guilty of assaulting the armed copper. The porky one was only ever charged with assaulting the armed officer so is now not guilty for the only thing he was charged with. |

The Big fella looks Confused when the police arrive Shrewd , he lets them through, When they grab the Main perp round the neck , he Tries to pull the Officer off , Quickly decides he doesn't want to be Tazered and sits down
similar will happen on most High streets with Drinkers over a weekend .. Not sure why he was Even charged TBH , Bound over to keep the Peace would have been the call back in the day The Boxer Should hopefully get a few years for his part .. |

The main part of all this is that Most People are unaware the Boxer has already been found Guilty Awaiting sentence , and are Furious Thinking the whole lot has been thrown out

Grabbing an officer on the high st over the weekend is hardly the same as an armed officer at an airport. Bear in mind it was the 2 accused who were the ones who brought the whole incident to light by playing the racism and police brutality card before the CCTV got released. Maybe he wouldn't have if he wasn't so keen to play the sad face I am a victim because I am a minority card. |

Friend of mine smacked a police officer outside of pub.
Black eye the lot. In uniform, came to sort out disturbance, got wrong bloke. Was sure he'd get done, but... Still waiting 20 years later Different charges, with different tariffs made this difficult the video footage should have helped jury.. But all of the pre trial stuff made it even more high profile. Police reputation not what it was 20 years ago. |

What is going on ?
The footage clearly shows a civilian being head butted, and the assault of 3 officers responding to that incident. Why would a jury have any doubt? Let alone 2 juries? There must be something we are not being told or shown, it doesn't make sense with the evidence we have been shown. P.S. I cheered when PC Zackery put his boot in, as did huge numbers of others I suspect. Give him a good conduct medal imho. |

It's confusing.
People are thinking they completely got away with it. But the one who did most of the violence was already convicted in the 1st trial, but hasn't been sentenced yet. Because in the 1st trial the jury couldn't agree a verdict on his brother. So they had a 2nd trial and couldn't agree again. |

The jury in the 1st trial did not take long to convict the scum. As such, I hope the convicted scum will get a longer sentence now that the jury could not come to a decision in the 3rd trial.

Escapee, this case seems to suggest that it is hard to find a jury of 12 without at least one of them being sympathetic to perps who attack police officers.

It should be an interesting week. Sneaky Pete sentenced on the 23rd June and rat boy on the 26th June.
