Teenagers spared jail for 11 rapes after judge praises their behaviour in court
Three teenagers who rayped two lone young girls in separate attacks have walked free from court after a judge praised their behaviour and told them: ‘None of you need to go to prison today.’
The raypists – aged 13 and 14 at the time – recorded the attacks on their phones, laughing and egging each other on while outnumbering their ‘cornered and petrified’ victims.
One of the girls told Southampton Crown Court during their sentencing hearing: ‘All I want to do is die.’
But despite being convicted of a total of 11 raype charges in a trial in which the victims were forced to relive their attacks, all three were spared jail.

As with so many elements of society, politicians have outsourced responsibility for sentencing guidance and rules to faceless bureaucrats. Bureaucrats that allow judges to pursue their own ideology.
It is not beyond the wit of man (or parliament) to make hard guard rails on viscous crime. Rape is mandatory jail, whatever the mitigation. And a case can be escalated to the appropriate minster if there are some kind of extraordinary circumstances. If we go by the reporting, none of which apply in this case.

I'm sure there are a vast amount of examples, but we know of this one as it was very public. Chap jailed for corralling Chris Whitty on the street into a selfie. Deemed more of a crime than gang rayping girls, and filming it. Justice eh.
