That will be the death knell. Not sure why Burnham is fav anyway, this is a leave area and the govt is despised, don't see how an uncharismatic wimp like Burnham can save them.

Laying Burnham for this by-election is FREE MONEY

Laying burnham at current lay price 1.67 is the same as backing reform at 2.5.
Given that you can currently back reform at 2.88, laying Burnham is giving away FREE MONEY

The layers of Labour and Reform are getting hammered, giving away an extra 10% over the current odds

Burnham  wins , What price no leadership challenge ,for some time ? Starmer reshuffle Burnham given a top Job , Starmer able to resume his galavanting around Europe with his Mates,  Manny Mertz and Zalenko for a couple of years ..

What might be worth a lay is the 5 on Sir Shambles to go this year ..

According to daily star, I know it’s a rag, but front page, Burnham policy is to scrap VAR, I didn’t know that was a politician role. I thought that was FA, UEFA FIFA to decide.

Var is actually not the issue, its nobody watching, myself included, knows the guidelines or laws, yesterday myself and a dear auld mate we’re watching the Man Utd goal being given, and we were mystified why it was allowed but I read up on the rules and realise why it was given now.
It seems a strange rule to myself but Var don’t make the rules, they are only there to make sure they are correctly enforced.
For avoidance of doubt I had no interest in who won match.

There are a few folk don't know rules malay, and
many that do that disagree on this one.

Yesterday about as borderline as they come.

My thoughts that it's not handball and ref was correct.

Plenty of times handball is given, and other times ref blows
for defender suffering a head injury, before ball falls to man utd
player who scores.

It was handball but judged not deliberate but if he had scored it would be disallowed but because a team maté scored in the move goal stands. Strange but true.

Yeah, and that's what the laws expect

Because the rule has been changed and altered and led here
rather than the rule being rewritten to make more logical outcomes
the norm.

Starmer will no doubt be banging loudly on his Rejoin drum for maximum kiss-of-death effect.

instead of var they should have a bunker, as they do in the nrl

it makes the decison and if it cannot be certain, the refs decision remains. this takes the pressure off the ref

and a simple solution to the added time nonsense is to remove timekeeping from the ref

every stoppage, the independendent timekeepers stop the clock and the clock in the stadium shows this, no reason for complaint from anyone

refs have enough to worry about. this is a simple fix
