I think the Iranians read it,they seem to be one step ahead.

Not well known, but in the early 80's Trump was the good-looking lead singer of a pop band and made a ground breaking video which saw a real-life female character be drawn into a cartoonish world. It was nailed on to win the Nobel Prize for Pop Music but the Norwegian PM sabotaged it and passed the idea on to his nephews.

During the pandemic people didn't seem to have a problem accepting short term pain to solve a bigger problem, even though it didn't really solve anything, and it's largely the same individuals who are now saying they can't accept this.

Ron, they were talking to solve stuff on the 26th of Feb,they were bombed during those talks.

You have to cut off the money to cut off terrorism and that's what's happening.

You are skirting around the fact that the talks were 'going well' by a few sources,that what was happening.

Instead you seem to be arguing about cutting off money to terrorism when in reality he is raising the price of fuel and fertiliser and potentially starving those who are ill equipped on those measures.

Wasn't it Trump who closed the Straits , who's now struggling to get them open again ?

The talks may have sounded like they were going well. But you tell me how are they going to fund terrorism without the oil money?

Those talks(very close) included the lifting of sanctions which moots your argument that this is anything to do with 'funding'

Those talks were never going to happen, Iran said don't send Mr W or Mr K, we won't talk to/negotiate with them (explanation not permitted on this forum)

When it became clear dave was sending Mr W and Mr K, iran didn't bother turning up.

Those talks failed to deliver non-negotiable US red lines. When Dave sets a line in the sand he means it unlike prior unserious presidents like Obama.

The 26th of Feb talks? They were said to be 'significant progress' and were supposed to resume the following week.
