wont be as exciting as last time though will it, different market i know
last time it was an edinburgh seat on counting day that got it looking like they might get a majority, then that disappeared with next declaration

12 days to the 5 yearly Scottish Parliamentary elections and betfair (or any other bookmaker) can't be bothered to put markets up. No posters at all up in the capital city. Apathy everywhere.

Most people aren't interested in just one market with a 1.02 favourite. 73 constituency markets, majority or no majority, party seats etc. That is what usually goes up for a 5 yearly election. It's not like betfair are exposed to losses, they just match bets.

It's a general problem across betfair that they seem
increasingly reluctant to put up these markets. And if they
do, they are often too late to attract the custom.

We used to be able to request markets and they'd be
loaded same day.

Now you are lucky to get acknowledgement beyond

there is general indifference. on walk to pittodrie today i spotted one poster in a window for the snp. at this rate, it looks like a landslide for the 'for sale' party.

on a country road the other day there was a couple big tory ones in farmers fields.
have seen one labour one in town in a window, other one or 2 have been snp
maybe the reality is that it makes sense for john swinney to be FM, i wont be voting for him, but he seems a decent person, and he doesnt want the job, which is something
SNP most seats price continuing the march to no offer, 1.01 getting taken now.

Olaf Stando, a special adviser to First Minister John Swinney was also accused of breaching rules by briefly posting a photograph of his completed ballot paper on social media.
Not that any of it makes any difference.
SNP already backed in the whole way, will there be a wobble when results start
dont think theres an exit poll, not sure if we'll get turnout figures today, or if thatll be tomorrow too.
