See BBC UK NEWS - reporter Emma Saunders.
How on earth did it ever get recorded as a “CRIME” in the first place.
Whatever way it has materialised we have stumbled into it common sense has been reached.  The man deserves an apology.

It's like that time when Ted was wrongly blamed for kicking bishop brennan up the arse.

No it isn’t.  This is real life where a man has voiced his opinion and been pilloried for it, because conspiratorial wokes believe they have the right to cancel him, and his rights and his legitimate opinions.

Couldn't agree more LH, his arrest at the airport was a disgrace. I have no time for wokies who believe what they hear from the legacy media about people being fascists and spreaders of hate and who therefore think it's justified to pile on and cancel people. It's difficult for me to forget Graham Linehan was one of those wokies not so long ago. He called Dankula a fascist and said his free speech defense was a shield for hate and the courts were right to convict him. I am glad he has seen the error of his ways now, but he was one of the high profile wokies who contributed to cancel culture.

That would be an ecumenical matter.

Lineham was arrested at an airport because he was on bail for assault and he'd absconded and not turned up on the due date.
He wasn't arrested at an airport for tweets.

The only thing that's a disgrace about this incident is Murdochs lies about the truth of events.
Look how many people have been triggered and outraged by a complete bunch of lies and distortion.

Absconded? It said nothing about absconding in any of the reports I read. Where are you getting absconded from?

Under a progressive Labour government you can be locked up for your opinion.

The Metropolitan Police have apologised to comedian and campaigner Graham Linehan and acknowledged his "considerable distress" for his arrest over his posts on X in September 2025.

Five armed Heathrow airport officers detained the Irish comedy writer on suspicion of inciting hatred under the Public Order Act as he returned from Arizona.

The BBC understands a settlement has been reached, which is reported to be £25,000.

Anyone know what Escapee was referring to with his posts on this thread?

Just speculation and conspiracy theories, I suspect.

I don't think we should jump to conclusions Cider.

We need to give Escapee enough time to go back to Reddit and find the thread he was talking about.

"outrageous views" - you mean the views that the huge majority of the population hold.
