When you start a job usually there is a training course to attend in order to familiarise yourself with the organisation. Not an exhaustive list for MPs just some suggestions: 1. Be economical with the truth. 2. Accept gratuities. 3. If caught say you forgot to enter in members interests or blame staff. 4. Never answer yes or no to a question. 5. Blame previous government for problems even if in power for a number of years. 6. What appears common sense and obvious to everyone needs to be shrouded in mystery and made out to be not everything it seems. 7. Ensure that you are the only party with the right ideas. 8. Everything takes time but don’t stipulate how long. 9. Never give cost for ant project as we know from experience it will be multiplied many times over. 10. You are right and everyone else is wrong.
