Discussed by his supporters. Good idea to add him to the market . Would make the market for a volatile market .

Unlikely to be allowed YHTL but more likely than Taylor Swift or Kanye West and a few others .This is a betting observation not a political point.

Yep, if its open to trump, then it's open to obama

I'll take the risk

Likely it's the thing that prevents krasnov standing again.

Losing to obama would finish him.

the don to declare state of emergency in 2028? america threatened by bad people? save democracy?

we need a "who is potus on 21/01/2029" market

also the don to be impeached before his term ends

Must be a legal reason stopping him being added at UK regulated bookies because he isn't listed on any of the sites on oddschecker. Smarkets has the separate serve 9+ years market which they put up before the last election.

He isn't allowed to stand unless he changes the law,

That would take 2/3 of Senate and house, so likely only
gets approval if dems supporting Obama 3rd term

Lay trump, back Obama, free monets, cos he can't beat Obama.

Legally or not no way is the don going quietly in 2028

Maybe put the country on war footing, - under threat from soros etc etc he's already started replacing the generals

Is there anything to stop him seeking the GOP nomination?
By:
----you-have-to-laugh---
When: 24 Feb 25 17:46
Yep, the constitution.

He can of course just do it illegally as he tried when Biden stuffed him.

But you wouldn't get paid out under rules unless he served due process.

The markets market is a different kettle of fish.

The argument they are making is that he is not barred from running again by the US Constitution because his two terms were not consecutive. They are hoping to challenge it legally and get it up to the Supreme Court where their buddies in the majority will rule in their favour.

There is more chance of that happening rather than amending the Constitution which seems extremely unlikely.

Yep, the constitution

But does it stop him seeking the nomination
By:

Think it's fairly clear that it's elected more than twice.

He could seek nomination, win it and then can't stand.

Would need to look at constitution of Republican party

You'd think they would specify it's only open to folk qualified to stand
and eligible for the position,... But I don't know.

Legally or not no way is the don going quietly in 2028

A few times this week, he has accused Zalensky of being a dictator, not holding elections etc.

Given that he has shown that a lot of his accusations are confessions and or projections of his own crimes.
I'd say the chances of him 'suspending' the 2028 USA election are relatively high.

scenarios such as an attack on the US military base in Isreal sparking a war with Iran will help his playbook if is going down that route.

What kind of 80yo man seeks to be the head of a country?
What kind of 84yo man would then gladly hand the power back?

Twenty-Second Amendment

Section 1

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

It is clear but the court has been corrupted and he is in the process of corrupting everything by installing his loyalists everywhere in his attempt to turn the country into an autocracy like his master, Putin has done in Russia.

Obama can't run because he's already had 3 terms. But if Trump wants to make it 3 and the people want him what's the problem?

Was it corrupting everything Jack when Obama installed his own loyalists everywhere? Or is it only a problem when a right winger does it?

After a bit of research, Musk was listed with a few UK bookies for the 2024 election even though he was ineligible, so maybe there's hope Trump can be listed but he is a bigger fish.

2028 declare martial law - nation at risk from commies, soros, wokes, immigrants, etc. gop senators too scared to impeach him

What is it with TDS bros always panicking about what Trump might do. He was in office for 4 years and never did anything dictatorial, except that one time he led a beer hall putsch.

South Korea a dry run. Almost got away with it but enough with the backbone to impeach him. Gop lawmakers haven't shown similar courage so far

Obama did not install cult members who are only loyal to him. His appointments were loyal to the Constitution and that is the oath they take when sworn into office. They would not attempt to defy the Constitution or the law to benefit the president. Trump's appointments are cult members  whose only loyalty is to their leader and most are not even qualified to hold the office.
