Pope heading to the great gig in the sky?

The man is very sick and it probably isn't the time for too much criticism.

I understand I am breaking social norms, and this guy did not lead the pillaging, nor did he live and sleep in the room directly above the room where his organisations £Trillion (todays money) in gold and treasure was stored with the only access being a trap door under his bed, like the previous top job holders did in the 1300's, They literally lived and slept atop their mountain of gold.

But my conscience, my own attempts to be a nice person every day without the promise of profit and an eternity of bliss, It prevents me from looking the other way, just because the head of this
Mafiosi organisation is is on his deathbed. He had his chance, and the power to show repentance
for his corporations atrocities, he could have changed the world for the better, and didn't
because he choose not to. 

So I hold up my sign with "We are not amused" on it.
and I hope you understand why I break this social norm without any respect to the humanity of
the mans last moments.

Pope Joan (Ioannes Anglicus, 855–857) is a legend about a woman who purportedly reigned as pope for two years during the Middle Ages.[1] Her story first appeared in chronicles in the 13th century and subsequently spread throughout Europe. Most versions of her story describe her as a talented and learned woman who disguised herself as a man, often at the behest of a lover. In the most common accounts, owing to her abilities she rose through the church hierarchy and was eventually elected pope. Her sex was revealed when she gave birth during a procession *1 and she died shortly after, either through murder or natural causes. The accounts state that later church processions avoided this spot and that the Vatican removed the female pope from its official lists and crafted *2 a ritual to ensure that future popes were male.[5][6] In the 16th century, Siena Cathedral featured a bust of Joan among other pontiffs; this was removed after protests in 1600.[7]

*2 This ritual referred to is a Throne with a hole in the seat, where the Job Applicant must go commando and sit upon it clothed in his robes, with his equipment dangling thru the hole.
A package check is then performed by several bishops standing or kneeling behind the throne.

My question is why ?

Because they no longer own everything and everybody like they have done for the previous 1,000 years.

Sure, they can take offence, and demand that Monty Python be prosecuted for the Life of Brian and they still had enough ownership of everybody and everything to get a lot of TV time and media urging that it be banned and Cleese et al should be stoned to death or imprisoned.

But today they can FRO with their laws and social norms claiming everyone has to defer to their book club.

I don't hear you saying that the terrorist attacks, because the other major book club think they own everybody and every thought and thus took offence to a cartoon of their own feckwit are justified in any way.

If you want to claim Jayzuz owns my thoughts and limit's my POV, then what's the difference between you and the snack bar mob?

I am not in any book club, and I pay no deference to them because they pay no deference to me and my own short life on this planet.
They can all FO, or show me the respect they want shown to them, and everyone can live and let live.
