But hang about

The Bank of England  :

Inflation: The Bank predicts that inflation will rise to 3.7% later this year, driven up by rises in gas prices arising from the need to fill drained storage facilities after a cold winter

Erm its not been a Cold Winter , which is Fortunate ,so WTF are they going on about ?
Report the old nanny ;-) February 6, 2025 2:13 PM GMT
There has been a colder than expected winter in Europe, which has driven demand for natural gas and hiked up prices.

Where in Europe , They keep telling each month is the Warmest ever

Humans are the greatest parasite on the Earth and ever growing. Earth will deal with mankind when
we become intolerable, which is inevitable unless our number decreases.

The Climate mob are no doubt paraying for another pandemic that will take 6 biilion people out so as we can all return to 1950s climate

And you can fit the 8 billion with 10 square meters each (less density than HK) into Northumbria. Plenty of room for more parasites. Over population yet another hysterical doom and gloom prophecy.

from wikipedia (a hornet's nest of lies and disinformation put together by over 1,000,000 employees of soros, gates, and satan worshippers)

Patrick Albert Moore (born June 15, 1947) is a Canadian industry consultant, former activist, an early member and past president of Greenpeace Canada. Since leaving Greenpeace in 1986,[2] Moore has criticized the environmental movement for what he sees as scare tactics and disinformation, saying that the environmental movement "abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism".[3] Greenpeace has criticized Moore, calling him "a paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry"[4] who "exploits long-gone ties with Greenpeace to sell himself as a speaker and pro-corporate spokesperson".[5]

Since leaving Greenpeace, Moore has frequently taken sharp public stances against a number of major environmental groups, including Greenpeace itself, on many issues including forestry,[6] nuclear energy,[7] genetically modified organisms,[8] and pesticide use.[9] Moore has also denied the established consensus of the scientific community on climate change, for example by claiming that increased carbon dioxide in Earth's atmosphere is beneficial, that there is no proof that anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions are responsible for global warming, and that even if true, increased temperature would be beneficial to life on Earth.[10] These views are contradicted by the scientific consensus on the effects of global warming, which holds that climate change is expected to have a significant and irreversible negative impact on climate and weather events around the world, posing severe risks like ocean acidification and sea level rise to human society and to other organisms.[11][12][13]

Google's having a laugh

How many humans will there be in 3000?
The U.N. estimates that the world population as a whole will peak around 2100 at 11 billion as the last developing countries develop. Then it will start going down. So if current trends continue around the world there would likely be 0 people left by the year 3000.6 Apr 2017

11 billion total fantasy underestimate

That 'guess' is based heavily on the fallacy that:
Wealth trickles down to the average joe, bringing more and more poverty stricken people into an ever increasing middle class, with access to healthcare and pensions, and thus they will have less children, because they don't need them to look them in their old age.

Year Population (billions)
1960 3
1975 4
1987 5
1998 6
2010 7
2022 8

The chart above show's the number of years it takes to add another billion is decreasing "a bit"
I've seen other charts showing it decreasing faster than "a bit" and the 9 billion mark will be 10 years or less from the 8Bil mark, then 7 or 8 years etc etc.

Wealth distribution amongst the poor population is generally considered to have a high correlation to the number of children they have.

Wealth distribution is going (exponentially) the wrong way for a stabilising or decline in world population.

Plus there's all those book clubs trying to increase their membership and out do the other book clubs

"Most countries" is probably indeed a bit far-fetched, given that only a bunch of European nations and a select few East Asian countries have a lower birth rate than death rate. That's not a definite pointer as it doesn't respect migration, but it should serve as a decent enough indicator.

Report Ronaldmcdonald February 9, 2025 12:20 PM GMT
Birth rates are declining in most western countries. To be at replacement level to maintain a stable population each woman needs to have 2.1 children on average. We are a long way below that.

United States: 1.6
United Kingdom: 1.6
Germany: 1.4
France: 1.6
Italy: 1.3
Spain: 1.2
