That depends who you are.
You'd certainly choose to live amongst people you have something in common.

East Neuk of Fife is very high on my list. I could probably manage ok on the south side of the Forth
too, North Berwick is very nice. I would just favour the fife side tho, maybe Elie or Pittenweem

I agree there are some lovely places in Wales but but but Drakeford and associated loonies
I would probably join lfc in Eastbourne.
In reality it's too late to move now and I will stay here in the new land of the pure.

I would move my house to postcode :- W1 J

The average property there (I'm presuming that it is in London) is worth £7.6m. I would immediately sell it and live the life of luxury

Anywhere on the Orkneys or, if to be outside Scotland, then Port Isaac.
But only if it was 50 years ago.

You should have been a DCI  in Midsomer. Barnaby had a large detached house -must have been on the take from the local drug barons .

Anywhere Cotswolds/Cheltenham area. Wonderful part of of the UK. Bristol seems ok as well.

If I was to nominate a part not to go to I would pick Bracknell, or any place within 10 miles of it. A sh!thole to put it mildly.

Plan to visit North Yorkshire/Durham area next Summer, probably in August. Any recommendations would be welcomed!!

North Yorks is vv nice, if you have to live in a town then Harrogate would not the worst place to live

I'll be basing myself in Middleton-in-Teesdale (for family reasons) but plan on spreading my wings throughout the area. Harrogate is in my plans, if only for a visit.

I think we should all move here............Foula is the most remote inhabitable island in Britain,
it has a population of less than 40 and is 20 miles west of Wells in the Shetland Islands.
we could send property prices into a death spiral.

Robin Hood's Bay/Whitby is on the itinerary. Not sure about the caravan part as I like my creature comforts...

I know a guy who lives in a caravan in the south of France and it has two wine fridges, one for white wine and one for red. He doesn't drink beer.

For one million seven hundred and fifty thousand pounds you could buy your own island.
The Isle of Vaila, Walls, Shetland.
I was amused to see it is described as "property type....detached"
