I'm not convinced that he is robust enough to take the scorn and ridicule being heaped on him long term, with most of it being hurled just because he is a public figure.

People should defend to the death the right for another person to express their view in return for reciprocation.

Freedom of expression and opinion includes being able to ridicule someone if you think he is saying the darndest things.
