There's quite an easy way to tell that Trump is not the embodiment of the real right. You only need to look at his support. The real right has always been first and foremost carried by the middle-class intellectuals. Sure, he now also has the support of industrialists who are in it for the tax gains, but quite a decent portion of his most enthusiastic voters are uneducated, unwashed plebs that used to be left-wing like flushgordon1. The right as we knew and loved it has been hijacked by left-wing plebs.

You do realise why that is? Why Epstein took a plea deal in 2008 and only spend some time in mickey mouse white collar get-to-go-home-every-day prison, where his crimes of trafficking and (group-)raping of very young girls (that's children as young as 12) by old men were reduced to 'soliciting'?, and why others avoided prosecution because of it? You do realise who is the great Alan Dershowitz?, who is Kenneth Starr?, and who is Alexander Acosta?

You do realise who is William Barr?

You do realise what is JP Morgan, and what is Deutsche Bank, in facilitating to high-end criminals?, that the US security services aren't always on your side? You do realise what is the reach of Mossad?

You do realise without faith in the US criminal system from the top down people are afraid to speak up to law-enforcement, or in a court of law? And that when they do they might get threatened in every which way imaginable, or their ever silence bought, or just get disappeared?

You do realise that when they caught him again, the man with all the dirt, because it never stopped and new light was now shed on the sham of 2008, he was pending his trial transferred to NYC's most secure criminal facility only to be found dead in his cell days later? and that justice was evaded there?

You do realise that there is a reason for that?

Obamagate: Basically the transcripts released yesterday show that the whole Russia thing was a complete lie. All the Democrats who said he was definitely guilty and there is proof, proof, proof, when under oath behind closed doors admitted there is no evidence at all to back them up.

It was all a sham.

General Flynn was stitched up and the FBI did it knowing what they were doing was illegal. There is proof of this.

Why? Because they were caught listening in to the Trump campaign. The FISA warrants, the Steele document - all a sham to create the narrative to get a FISA warrant so they could eavesdrop on Trump.

tony,

Flynn speaking to the Russians as an incoming administration is entirely normal. Every administration do it. What they talked about was entirely normal - because guess what - a new administration has different priorities.

Just because they have different priorities does not make that a crime.

If what Flynn did was so obviously a crime, why did the FBI have to use dirty tricks to frame him? Why did they agree to close his file, then re-open it because Strck and Comey told them to?

Why did they fail to use agreed procedures for interviewing a WH official?

Why did nobody tell Flynn he was under investigation?

Why were they asking him about the phone call, and what he said on it, if it wasn't a trap (they already had the call on tape)?

Why did they have to threaten to prosecute his son (who was also innocent) after bankrupting Flynn into a guilty plea?

Why is absolutely no lawyer in the USA defending the FBI and saying that they would win a case against Flynn with the current knowledge?

Face facts - they stitched him up. They even wrote notes on how they were going to stitch him up!

But Flynn is just a sideshow to the rest of the issues - the Russia hoax and the reason for the hoax, which was getting access to Trump's campaign.

They got caught. I said 3 years ago that they are after Trump because they have to get to him before he gets the them. That explains the impeachment joke, and all the other accusations. They are simply trying to delay the investigation.

We will see about this over the coming months. The only sad thing is that any illegality will be brushed under the carpet.

The claim: The coronavirus would weaken “when we get into April, in the warmer weather—that has a very negative effect on that, and that type of a virus.”
The truth: It’s too early to tell if the virus’s spread will be dampened by warmer conditions. Respiratory viruses can be seasonal, but the World Health Organization says that the new coronavirus “can be transmitted in ALL AREAS, including areas with hot and humid weather.”

The truth: The White House now estimates that anywhere from 100,000 to 240,000 Americans could die from COVID-19. Other estimates have placed the number at 1.1 million to 1.2 million. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. But the number of people who died by suicide in 2017, for example, was roughly 47,000, nowhere near the COVID-19 estimates. Estimates of the mental-health toll of the Great Recession are mixed. A 2014 study tied more than 10,000 suicides in Europe and North America to the financial crisis. But a larger analysis in 2017 found that while the rate of suicide was increasing in the United States, the increase could not be directly tied to the recession and was attributable to broader socioeconomic conditions predating the

The claim: “Coronavirus numbers are looking MUCH better, going down almost everywhere,” and cases are “coming way down.”
The truth: Coronavirus cases are either increasing or plateauing in the majority of American states. Increases in state-level testing do account for some of the increase in cases, and on average, the country’s positive-test rate is lower than it was in March and April. But those numbers obscure the situation in eight states where cases are increasing.

The complete Donald Trump database of false claims

On the day of his inauguration, one year ago Saturday, Trump lied about the weather. The next day, he lied about the size of his inauguration crowd. He has become no less brazen in the 12 months since. The president who won’t change isn’t so much untruthful as anti-truthful, his words so frequently and flagrantly wrong that they amount to a comprehensive rejection of the very idea of accuracy.

The Star has counted 1,064 false claims since his inauguration, an average of 2.9 per day, about everything from media outlets to legislation to the head of the Boy Scouts calling him to pay him a compliment. (Didn’t happen. He just made it up.) As Trump careens from policy to policy and outrage to outrage, lying has been the most consistent feature of his presidency.

I’m an academic who cares deeply about how lying affects communication processes and social relationships. One of the most important and consistent truths about deception is that we are all mostly honest. Most people tell one or two small lies per day, on average, and there are only a few prolific liars in our social circles.

Rates of interpersonal deception — the lies I tell you and you tell me — have been remarkably stable in deception research over time. But, as others suggested, something is unusual about President Trump. His rate of deception has increased since taking office.

As of early April, Trump has told 23.3 lies per day in 2020, a 0.5-lie increase since 2019. What’s more, Trump has averaged 23.8 lies per day since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in the US — another 0.5-lie increase. Even during a pandemic, when the public needs to trust and rely on him the most, deception remains a core part of the president’s playbook.

What’s unusual about Trump is not just how often he lies, but what he lies about and where he communicates his lies most often.

I evaluated Trump’s 18,000 reported lies organized by topic. If Trump lied consistently, we would see a relatively flat distribution of falsehoods over time and across topics. Instead, bursts of deception tend to repeat on the same topic, particularly about guns, the economy, education, and elections.

Another lie by cryoftruth.

"he lied about the size of his inauguration crowd" - when everybody knows he was talking about the live audience, because it was live on-line.

Cryoftruth just can't stop lying.
Report cryoftruth May 22, 2020 11:33 PM BST
What’s also remarkable is the steady increase in Trump’s lying on public-facing platforms such as Twitter, in speeches, and during remarks. President Trump seems impervious to the threat of detection or harsh public opinion. He continues to deceive at record-setting rates using forums that amplify his lies, rather than hide them.
Report cryoftruth May 22, 2020 11:34 PM BST
Recently, journalists have taken measures to curb the spread of Trump’s lies and harmful recommendations to the public. Some news outlets, for example, have stopped airing his press briefings and others are limiting their coverage of him.

The problem here is that mainstream media coverage of President Trump is a relatively constrained avenue for his lies. Tweets, on the other hand, have speed and scale: they travel fast and are distributed globally. They also leave a record, allowing lies to remain public and therefore, in competition with truths. Even correcting falsehoods may not help, given political divisions among us and evidence suggesting that warnings about false claims can backfire.
Report cryoftruth May 22, 2020 11:35 PM BST
Trump’s lies are problematic because they force us to question our institutions and the value of information. Their consequences might also bleed into our everyday meaningful relationships. Our trust in government, media, and other institutions remain quite low, but we still tend to trust one another.

What happens when our distrust in government affects our trust in family or friends? When we fail to value truth and instead, prioritize alternative facts or self-serving discourse, the fabric that holds our relationships together begins to fray.

Well of course Trump may win Flush. This time he might get more votes than the other candidate.
He is still a serial liar.

From The Washington Post

In his first three years as president, Trump spoke or tweeted a staggering 16,241 false or misleading claims, according to a comprehensive database put together by The Fact Checker team. In that time, he averaged fifteen misleading claims per day. Donald Trump and His Assault on Truth gathers the most conspicuous, frequent, and astonishing of them, ranked by The Fact Checker’s popular 1-4 Pinocchios dishonesty scale, from a cornucopia of half-truths to the president’s biggest whoppers. The book examines the veracity of some of the President’s biggest lies such as: “Mexico’s paying for the wall,” that “illegal” votes cost him the popular vote in 2016, that he’s proposed the largest tax cut in U.S. history and that he is the most popular Republican in the history of the party. Donald Trump and His Assault on Truth also unpacks his errant statements about the economy, immigration, the impeachment hearings, foreign policy, and, of critical concern now, the coronavirus crisis as it unfolded.
More than a catalogue of false claims, Donald Trump and His Assault on Truth is a necessary guide to understanding the motives behind the president’s falsehoods.
The Washington Post created The Fact Checker column in 2007 as a feature tracking the 2008 presidential campaign. The Post revived it as a permanent feature on Jan. 11, 2011, helmed by Glenn Kessler. In an award-winning journalism career spanning more than three decades, Kessler helped pioneer the fact-checking of candidates’ statements during the 1992 and 1996 presidential campaigns, when he was chief political correspondent for Newsday, and continued to do it during the last six presidential campaigns for The Washington Post. Salvador Rizzo and Meg Kelly are reporters for The Fact Checker.

I have no idea whether Biden is truthful or not.

But I would suggest that no politician in history has managed to make an average of 25 lies or misleading statement per day totalling over 16,000 and counting (quickly) in history.

Trump is an extraordinary liar, nonbidy else comes remotely close.

In fairness to him that probably meant he was lying when he boasted about abusing his fame and power to grope young women’s private parts - this though makes him a boastful disgusting liar.
