The Conservative Think-tank Blue Beyond did an opinion poll among Scottish Conservative members and found that Michelle Ballantyne has support of 44% of members whereas Jackson Carlaw only had the support of 36%. With 20% abstaining. [9] !Candidate !Blue Beyond polling

Annie Wells you couldn't find her brain with the Hubble Telescope. She had the lowest vote of any MSP who stood for the Scottish Parliament, entered through the back door on the list.

What a bunch of useless individuals, add in McLeod and Greene and the other candidate Ballantyne, and you have The Prime Tory Selection. You wouldn't let anyone of them on a WRI committee.

Yes, this is pretty desperate stuff from the Scottish Conservatives. Carlaw was standing in as leader when the tories lost the majority of their seats in the general election and some of the ones they retained , did so by a whisker. Ruth Davidson was simply far superior to anything they have left.

PP - Ruth Davidson was promoted by the media to be something she was not....a competent leader. She changed her mind more often than her shirt, disappeared below the parapet when things got rough. Had no policy proposals except NO TO INDIREF. She never attended her surgeries and was posted missing in her constituency. She had the brains to get out when she saw her progress had stalled. One policy had achieved all that it was going too and the only way was down.
She was good at photo ops......sitting on the top of a buffalo, I suppose its the only time she has had something substantial between her legs.

Telepathic, you need to look at her record in the role and have an unbiased think about it.

I have already outlined it, and reiterate that she was a "ONE TRICK PONY". Given more than ordinary support by the media of which she had been a member previously. A loud mouth with a habit of disappearing when hard questions had to be answered.

She harnessed the NO TO INDYREF2 vote behind the Tories. Every leaflet which went through the doors from the Tory Party in Scotland had the same message. No policies..... not even  one domestic policy was promoted by the Tories on their election paperwork.
Into the bargain the SNP vote didn't turn out as they saw things as an easy victory .....complacency.
Ruth seeing that 2017 was the zenith and the same tactics wouldn't give the same result again, resigned, while she still had some credence left.

She was given an easy time by the media ..... never questioned, allowed of the hook when she misspoke, and her numerous changing stances on Brexit and Johnson were allowed without a word of criticism by the media.

Great result for independence voters, Jackson Carlaw who sold his soul to be a Boris yes man, not that a former dodgy used car salesman would have had much of a soul to sell.

And would that also be the same Ruth Davidson that increased the Conservative seats at Holyrood from fifteen seats to thirty one seats? Whatever message she was sending at Holyrood and Westminster, it clearly worked.

PP Read and absorb, THE ONLY MESSAGE THAT THE TORY PARTY PASSED UNDER ITS TIME WITH RUTH D WAS "NO TO INDY REF2".

It was the harnessing agent for the people who didn't want another referendum and to vote  Tory. They even employed it at local elections. Ruthie mentioned Independence more than Nicola.

It is true that at the most recent election the Tories just did nothing but moan about independence. Nothing. When they got humbled by the people of Scotland, they said their thrashing was nothing to do with inderef2.

   4 - Scottish Government cannot take up these benefits till Westminster get the records in an order that can safely be passed
