They seem to be as good as you at framing
![]() This is what Jeremy Corbyn said in the Q&A about antisemitism, and about what Ephraim Mirvis, the chief rabbi, said about Labour’s record. "I made it very clear in my speech, and I make it very clear again now, there is no place whatsoever for antisemitism in our society, our country or in my party and there never will be so long as I’m leader of the party. And, since I become leader of the party, the party has adopted processes that didn’t exit before, has had a disciplinary process that didn’t exist before. And when people commit antisemitic acts, they are brought to book, and if necessary expelled from the party or suspended or asked to be educated better about it. I’ve also introduced an education system within the party. I want to live in a country where people respect each other’s faith. I want to live in a country where people feel secure to be Jewish, to be Muslim, to be Hindu, to be Christian, and I want to lead a government that has an open door to all of the faith leaders. So I invite the chief rabbi, I invite the archbishop of Canterbury, I invite all the other faith leaders to come talk to us about what their concerns are. But be absolutely sure of this assurance from me: no community will be at risk because of their identity, their faith, their ethnicity, or their language. I am proud to represent a diverse community in parliament. I’ve spent my life fighting racism in any form, right outside here on Tottenham High Road in the 1970s. And so there is no place for it, and I ask those that think have not been done correctly to tell me about it, talk to me about it, but above all engage. I’m very happy to engage with anybody. My whole life has been engagement with people. Sometimes you agree with them, sometimes you don’t, but you only learn by that process of engagement. So I say to all communities, let’s make our country safe for all of us. That is what our manifesto is all about and that’s why I’m so proud of our race and faith manifesto today." |

Framing?
What you going on about? It is the liberal BBC headline! |
By:
Exactly.

By:
Ye Gods, Corbyn is getting mullered here. Totally evasive and defensive.
By:
The first time Corbyn has been properly challenged on MSM, and it's not pretty.

CORBYN GOT SLAUGHTERED. WONT ONLY BE JEWS LEAVING IF HE EVER GOT NEAR No 10. WHAT A USELESS OLD GIT
By:
There was nothing in that that wasnt expected there , lets see if neil is as aggresive with His tory friends

Just finished on BBC1.
Probably the worst performance of a main party leader on television of all time. That was some car crash interview. Anyone who still votes Labour after seeing that must be off their rocker. Neil ripped him to shreds with every single question. |
By:
Corbyn absolutely ripped to pieces....
By:
Like most people know the whole thing is a stitch up this why the spiv fans are on here waffling
By:
Ripped to pieces my A5SE

By:
Bloke is and has always been a two bob activist, and because of his beliefs will never apologise as he is antisemitic.
By:
He cant answer anything. Useless

Was an interesting interview.
I felt sorry for Corbyn as he got bogged down on a couple of issues. He could easily have just said 'I am sorry for how slow we have been for handling anti-Semitism but we are fully committed to dealing it' As for the nonsense about killing a terrorist. He should have just painted a picture where he would say pull the trigger that no one would argue with... e.g. 'If a terrorist had his finger on a suicide vest in a crowded place I would say fire'.' Not sure quite why he couldnt just say those two things and move onto his social justice policies and be a little bit more positive. |

Pay for waspi out of the country's reserves

He admitted we dont have much in reserve

Prince Andrew thought he messed up after his car crash interview. He'll be feeling a lot better after seeing Corbyn squirm through that little lot.
Corbyn wants to keep Britain safe apparently, which is why he instinctively sides with our enemies and won't take out Islamist Terrorists when the chance comes. You can be sure Momentum will have been very busy since this afternoon getting the online Corbynista mob to put out a lot of pro-Corbyn propaganda on Social Media tonight. |

By:
same old song from the haters , keep bending over for the Establishment guys
By:
Who funds ISIS that is the issue ?
By:
Corbyn did well to get this out of the way first.
Boris will also have to face this but later in the campaign. |
By:
Anxious do you think it went well? I thought it was a tough interview.
By:
I dont vote for any of them. But seeing that I was certain he could'nt run anything. He has not got a clue.
If the Labour party had a proper leader they would walk this election |
By:
It was to be expected wasnt it lets see if neil is as aggressive w ith Bullingdon
By:
Indeed Anxious. I am sure he will be. He takes no prisoners.
By:
The so called working class are generally straight forward talking sensible people and it beggars belief to think that they could watch that interview and subsequently vote Corbyn.
He failed miserably on the Jewish question, taxation , Brexit and defence. Viewers have been left with the understanding that the country will be paying higher taxes, defenceless and swamped with immigrants .Vote Corbyn if you're a terrorist or criminal ! |
By:
Was certainly not good, but not an absolute catastrophe.
Don't forget, he was set up by The Times, was always going to be on the defensive as a result of that. But definitely should have been better prepared and projected himself more positively. Neil's style of questioning is designed to make the guests look bad. Let's see if he is equally aggressive with Johnson. |
By:
It's got nothing to do with the way Johnson gets treated. Corbyn was useless, thats the only thing that matters. You could tell by the look on his face he was getting murdered.
By:
Rubbish most people struggle with Neil like i say lets see him with Bullingdon
By:
There was on for the Tory leadership but limited archives on youtube.
Anyone got a link for full interview Boris with Andrew Neil. |
By:
It's still available on i-Player
By:
It was a destruction job, johnson never answered anything was very amusung to watch, but as usual it's passed on as a laugh when johnson can't answer anything...
By:
I recall that Neil nailed Johnson on GATT Article 24

Nearly 15 minutes on antisemitism , strange how the chief rabbi came out with his misinformation a few hours before , anybody can see the whole thing is a stich up
By:
I believe Nick Griffin has come out and told all bnp members to vote for Corbyn.
By:
Was it really misinformation?
Surely Corbyn should have tackled it head on in the first minute. Say sorry and move on. Why does he find it so hard to say 'I am sorry we were so slow on the uptake. We are now dealing with it. I apologise.' Then the whole debate on it is over. Or does part of him want this tag for some reason? |
By:
I find this whole issue very strange and i cannot believe the coverage it has had in the media , sure there is no doubt ant semitism in the Labour Party but there will be in other parties too , to say its a mass movement is crazy , racism and bigotry is present in society as a whole

Jewish MP's in the Labour party know its rife. They have walked out.
