I thought election date was decided? Can still back December for next general election at 1.01?

The bill has not received royal assent, so could, in theory, not be passed in to law.

Bill has Royal Assent. Happened yesterday. All other books have paid out on the market but betfair will pay out on election date. They have no idea re customer relations at all. I have thousands tied into the markets which I cant access until 12th Dec.

That's not good.
Were you playing on the exchange? If so, I guess that their weak argument would be that it is possible, though thoroughly unlikely, that the election might not take place as planned. Given that the exchange is punter versus punter, and not their money, they will stick to their argument. |
