Conservatives just want to ensure only their target demographics, men, over 60s, and the poorly educated get to vote.

really not much excuse for students not to vote. can register either at home or uni address or get a postal vote. if you remotely give a toss you make sure you get a vote

citizens of other EU countries cannot vote in Irish general elections. In fact in all EU countries, right to vote in General Elections is confined to nation staters.

Is this the big plan of the Labour/Lim Dem and their global project....open the borders and let them all in, in the hope that the outsiders will help rebuild the Labour/Lim Dem vote base.
Another Labour ruse, just like their tactic and multi-signing up voters of a certain religious mindset for tele-voting.

Labour= Bad Losers, the same as the Dems in the USA.

what is the logic for allowing eu citizens to vote?

What was the logic when parliament approved them being able to vote in local elections?

Most of the 3 million EU nationals in Britain do not have a right to vote in general elections. The exceptions are citizens of Ireland, Malta and Cyprus. More than 1 million Commonwealth citizens settled in Britain, including those with Indian, Pakistani and Zimbabwean passports, also have a right to vote in general elections alongside British citizens.
