Of the six Labour MPs who rebelled and voted with the government on Saturday, only one, Caroline Flint, is standing again in the next general election. But in her constituency of Don Valley, which she has represented for 22 years, that decision seems unlikely to be a costly one.

Any Labour MP with an ounce of intelligence and integrity would never have voted for the Letwin Amendment, why? To uphold the result of The Referendum and Democracy, simple!. Unless of course one is S(stupid) Kinnock (family induced perhaps) who spouted support for the result of The Referendum in public yet voted for the Amendment; his family was in The EU feeding trough for yonks, and very possibly in the future again. Easy money!

Is that it? I don't know enough about the selection process but it has been suggested in recent days that the NEC would move to prevent anyone who backed the deal standing as a Labour candidate. |

NEC = No Effing Clue - they really don't. They are bumbling along pretending issues would go away by themselves; deselecting Labour MPs who supported Democracy? Another own goal, seems to be their fav pastime.

Patently obvious by now it is the opposite. Employment prospects, wages and conditions will sky rocket outside the EU.

The remain camp repeatedly says we will be worse off outside the EU often embellished with phrases such as cliff edge and car crash, all the proof you need that they assume we would be better off in.

There are jobs about more evident in the bigger towns or cities - just take a look around. Creativity could work wonders for those slightly work-shy or less applied.

I'm all for The EU prior to 2004 with just 15 members when European Economic Development was the main objective. edges European Supremacy. Now, it's European Supremacy takign centre stage before anything else. Next in line to join The EU is Albania - does anyone know where Albania is? I do not. Post Albania, it could be Montenegro. I'm totally flummoxed where this place is. Am I alone?

But Turkey are not...how is that possible? Turkey could "swallow up" metaphorically speaking (not militarily) nearly everyone of the new minnow EU member states except Poland. And, its economy is many multiples of these pariah EU members too; Turkey would be an ideal EU member state in my opinion. Could it be The EU bureaucrats and Presidents are afraid of Turkey? I wonder what that might be.
