He still has some way to go in order to challenge to our resident anti-Brexit fanatic unitedbiscuits, with his tally of 280 anti-Brexit threads to date.

Nevertheless we'd better keep an eye on Angoose.
At this rate we don't want him rupturing himself.

Your devotion to the cause is exceptional, keep up the good work.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to prepare for my attendance at a board meeting tomorrow of a local charity who reach out to help the homeless.

From slide 1 of the 2019-22 business plan

We are an organisation with a rich history. Established in 1968, we began life as a soup kitchen in the city's Castlegate, organised by students from the University of Aberdeen. Responding to changing needs in the city, and reflective of the passion and innovation of our staff team, we have had a number of 'firsts' along the way,

including:

First Womens' hostel in the city
First Wet Hostel in the UK, where those with chronic alcohol misuse can agree a managed plan to consume alcohol safely on the premises
First rent guarantee scheme

As we look from our 50th anniversary to the future, our external environment is constantly changing, including changes to local and national government policy, funding opportunities and the UK exiting the EU ("Brexit"). It is important that as an organisation, we are agile and responsive. Our vision over the coming three years is that we will build an organisation that is alert and reactive to change, that seeks out partnership opportunities and pioneers new ways of working.

The purpose of this document is to articulate our vision for the future of the organisation, outline our strategic business objectives and plot a detailed business plan for each of our core services and critical operational areas.

We certainly don't come out by 31st! Somebody pushed this out to 1.54 at the end of last week in true price manipulation fashion. I just laid everything back at 1.22 because the exposure was getting out of hand. It's such an obvious thing, but I'm really surprised other people couldn't see it.

Pleasure. Why don't you stop posting utter crap, and it is utter crap by the way, and talk betting rather than trying to shove your pathetic leftist agenda down everyone's throats? It's actually embarrassing the way you litter this forum with your biased BS. Go and have a cry wank over Owen Jones.

Angoose charity - funding from the EU?

You can bet eric, there's usually a money trail to be found.

I wonder how many of these EU fanatics on forums are being paid directly or indirectly by the EU?

UB looks a cert.

Zero funding from the EU for either of the charities that I am involved with.
I am on the board of two charities on a voluntary basis, I receive no remuneration for my involvement, nor would I ever seek to.

Very flattering to be the subject of so much attention from my friends and colleagues here on the forum.
I can confirm that I have just completed my preparation for the board meeting to be held later this afternoon.

My general background has been variously reported on this forum over the years.

But, as a summary, I can confirm that I was born and bred in Aberdeen.
I am a CIMA qualified accountant who has lived and worked in five continents, moving through various finance positions prior to taking up the position of MD for a number of engineering workshops.

Most recently, I was living and working in the UAE, returning from my eleven year residence to my home town in January of this year.
My two young children are very much enjoying living just a ten minute walk from their grand parents.

I have returned to find a city very different from the one I left behind.
There has been a lot of positive change, yet the scars from a prolonged period of austerity and draconian changes in employment practice are clear to see.

In that regard, the city suffers along with the rest of the country.

This visible suffering encouraged me to volunteer with two local charitable organizations, providing them with the benefit of my extensive cultural, financial, strategic, and general business administration experience.

I have also recently engaged with a local university where they will seek to utilise my experience and knowledge to mentor business founders within their startup accelerator program. This is also on a voluntary basis.

So there you go.
I am simply a citizen with a social conscience who actively seeks to prioritise the needs and interest of others as I go about my daily activities.

I trust that this meets with the approval of the forum. Happy

Yes mass immigration was designed by the EU and multinationals to force wages down. Your city has got to this state while IN THE EU.
