Their project means too much to them. Our leaving without backstop is by far their worst result.

Cummings will already know that the attempts by EU collaborators Grieve, Major, Watson to stop No Deal is really an attempt to stop Brexit by defeating another leave date.

Stopping No Deal is a lie they are actually trying to prevent the worst result possible for the EU, us leaving.

The EU would rather, if we are going to leave, it be a bad break which they can manipulate afterwards to convince us that leaving was a mistake. No Deal suits them for political reasons.

So for the EU it is backstop version deal, which they wont budge on as it keeps us in the EU or No Deal is stopped or this fails and we leave with No Deal.

The ERG wont accept a backstop which puts it all on whether No Deal (in reality us leaving the EU) can be stopped by the EU collaborators.

If it isnt stopped then a vote of no confidence still leads to an election Boris will call after we leave on No Deal.

This is why a standard prorogueing of parliament (even if thereason is to impede the collaborators) has created such uproar.

It isnt due to worries about No Deal, it is because it gives them less time to prevent us from leaving.

It also explains the £100 million Get Ready advertising campaign beginning next week to get the message home to all that No Deal is the outcome which Doris are expecting if it isnt stopped.

The EU are in control of the deal and if we leave it is best for them politically if it is No Deal.(ERG wont accept no backstop version of May deal)

The tw@ts at the top are ideologically possessed and don't care how much pain they cause the people.

It's all faux outrage, look at Major for example
Prorogued parliament to stop the 'cash for questions' saga.
All the feckers have a hidden agenda i.e. they receive money from the EU or are paid shills

He said, ""We will have to find an operational way of carrying out checks and controls without putting back in place a border."

Michael Barnier said that in January of this year. I wonder what changed?

The unelected bureaucrats with their princely lifestyles have never been threatened in the decades of their existence like they are being now.

They know this is likely to be the beginning of the end of their project and will fight dirty with us until their demise.

The stop Brexit (disguised as stop No Deal) collaborators are being given short shrift by Cummings as a result of this end game with leakers evicted quickly.

Debating No Deal is irrelevant as it is inevitable in order for us to leave. We just need to prepare for it and the sht the EU will manufacture to show us it wasnt a good idea.

The EU overplaying the backstop redline is curious.

Maybe it is a Trojan bargaining tool and they are hoping to build it up in order to compromise it later in return for some huge concession from UK?
Or maybe they don’t want a deal at all. Seems it would be easier just to say that though rather than use a convoluted redline.

Maybe it is genuinely about the integrity of the EU border but then they don’t seem bothered about finding a solution. Can Barnier really go back to the 27 in November and say we can’t get a deal because the other side won’t arrange our border for us?

Of course they dont care about a deal politically. They just desperately need us to not leave to save their project. No Deal (doom doom doom) is just being used by the EU and their UK collaborators to disingenuously justify their real priority to stop us leaving.

Fortunately Doris (Dom and Boris) know this, hence the £100m Get Ready advertising campaign coming up.

Stopping No Deal is the same as Stopping Brexit permanently because the EU will never then offer us a deal that doesnt have us remaining in the EU ever.

Boris and Dominic have to be prepared to force a national crisis if it succeeds. If a Scottish remainer judge advocates it, ignore it.

Any Tory that blocks no deal will be deselected which is a start. These Tories will destroy their own party if they succeed in blocking No Deal.

Another thread is highlighting Barnier is not going to remove the back stop. Doh ... explained above.
