Communication is not her strongpoint and what exactly can she offer Tory remainers like Greening and Lee. It doesn't bode well.

It sounds like the first thing is she needs to take no deal off the table by the 27th or face mass resignations all over the place.

The moment 'no deal' is off the table Brexit is finished.

We will have take whatever deal the EU decides to off. Most likely Customs Union, All their regs, pay them lots of cash and accept low paid workers.

Will make Labour look cuddly. Her whole strategy appears to be keeping her head down and letting the clock tick and hoping someone else blinks first. Tells the ERG loons that she won't extend the deadline and tells the Remainers the opposite.

Never going to work in the end.

Tells the ERG loons

Takes one to know one.

Why are people who want the UK to take back control of its borders, money, laws and regulations 'loons'? Please explain.
Report PorcupineorPineapple February 22, 2019 7:46 PM GMT
Because there's no such thing as sovereignty or completely autonomous control nowadays?

Our borders are shared, and while some will cheer us stopping people coming here plenty more or mourning us no longer being able to go there. If you're rich enough you can do what's needed, if you're not then your world's just gotten a whole lot smaller and your opportunities are suddenly shrinking fast.

Our money is at risk of being ferried out of the country and into the greedy mitts of disaster capitalists at a greater speed than before. All evidence suggests industries failing, businesses leaving and jobs being killed or expatriated.

We have helped frame EU laws from the get go, moulding a continent to our design. Now that's sovereignty. If we want to continue trading with the EU and the rest of the world we must have one eye on them and their laws when deciding our own. That's the opposite of sovereignty.

And they're loons because they put this vision of so called sovereignty above the prosperity, health and security of our citizens and in the face of all the evidence before and since that says this is a bad decision that won't even achieve its aims. Loons.

I don't see how May has any option other than to hope the Cooper amendment passes.   But given Corbyn's intransigence and the ERG's intimidation and tail wagging activities, I don't think there is any guarantee of that happening.
