Thinks EU are going to give us everything we want. Most vague leader of any party ever. Can never answer a question.
He's useless.
Report Dr Crippen November 18, 2018 11:16 AM GMT
Corbyn's out of his depth.

He even had all his anti-EU speeches removed from his website when he sided with the remainers in the referendum.
I
It was assumed that he would go hammer and tongues to leave the EU based on his long held antipathy for the EU. Then he sided with the establishment and went for remain!
Which demonstrated that he's no friend of the working class.

What a complete idiot, one of the most important documents put
Report clacton November 18, 2018 11:34 AM GMT
Listened to him on Sophie Ridge programme this morning. After about 20 minutes of being interviewed I could still not work out what his policies on the EU were. I think he is scared to really say what he thinks in case he upsets some others in his party.
Probabably Mr Starmer. Must never be allowed anywhere near 10 Downing Street.

What a complete idiot one of the most important documents put to this country in the last 50 years, he’s trying to say would do a better job than the conservatives with this  & admits to only reading part of the document.
Report anxious November 18, 2018 11:59 AM GMT
lol i knew we would get a thread like this blaming Jeremy, and to think we have had these tory idiots allegedly doing the negotiations for the last 2 years
Report anxious November 18, 2018 12:00 PM GMT
Everybody knows neither labour or the tories are united on this issue
Report clacton November 18, 2018 12:03 PM GMT
No one is blaming Corbyn. Its about him not having any idea what he wants from brexit. Just vague answers when interviewed this morning. Do you know what he wants? If you do maybe you could tell us.
Report anxious November 18, 2018 12:17 PM GMT
Probably not it is true he was Anti Eu for a long time , but he realises that a lot of his mps favour remain so he has a problem , i voted to leave but it doesnt look like we will be allowed to  leave completely so i guess there will have to be compromises
Report posy November 18, 2018 12:24 PM GMT
Interesting to note that Corbyn had smartened himself for the interview nevertheless he equivocated throughout and just seemed to want to bring the subject matter to the UN report on poverty. He really doesn't have a grasp on reality seeming to suggest he'd only have to ask nicely and Europe would cave in and offer a 'better' deal. He is deluded if he thinks they will give us the advantages of being in Europe once we've left;both France and Germany have suffered through signing armistice treaties in the past and now they are determined England go through similar pain which will last for at least a generation.

^

it interesting that people have allowed themselves to be manipulated to believe this.

We could come out of the Treaty of Rome tomorrow and not pay the EU a penny if our politicians wanted to.
Report anxious November 18, 2018 12:34 PM GMT
I dont think its a simple a black and white issue IT , i think there was a lot of misinformation in the original campaign , although i do agree we should respect the result and leave if we can
Report Dr Crippen November 18, 2018 12:45 PM GMT
Negotiations?

How could there be any meaningful negotiations after we conceded 39 billions up front for whatever the EU were prepared to offer?

No wonder they offered a deal that would lock us into the EU for good.
And even worse that May accepted it.
Report Dr Crippen November 18, 2018 12:50 PM GMT
They had May's knickers down straight away, and they would have had Corbyn's trousers down just as easily, with EU enthusiast Starmer and most of the Labour party going flat out for a re-vote.
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 1:54 PM GMT
Corbyn was never anti EU , he was always and is always anti. British when we are part of the EU

And now we are leaving the EU he remains anti British and now favours the EU

That’s how he is
Report anxious November 18, 2018 1:56 PM GMT
More rancid garbage from lfc , really is total nonsense to suggest my country right or wrong ?
Report anxious November 18, 2018 1:57 PM GMT
Do you really believe that everything this country has ever done is correct and always been right and just ?
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 1:58 PM GMT
To put it simply his apparent opposition on the past to the EU wasn’t that at all
It was his anti british tendencies ( Britain was part of the EU )

Now when we are leaving ( hopefully ) his anti British tendencies haven’t changed
He favours the EU in opposition to Britain
Report anxious November 18, 2018 2:02 PM GMT
Rubbish many on the left were anti eu , peter shore , barbara castle , tony benn , micheal foot , denis skinner  are you saying all these were anti british or traitors lol
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 2:04 PM GMT
No not necessarily , but Corbyn is
He has always been very friendly with Britain’s enemy’s , including the Soviets when they were murdering millions of people
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 2:06 PM GMT
I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t why he pretended to be anti the EU
Well the west anyway , that’s why he went to east Germany for his hols
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 2:07 PM GMT
Let’s get it clear , his anti EU stance was an anti Britain stance and an anti American stance and an anti the West stance
Report moisok November 18, 2018 2:08 PM GMT
my party has always been anti eu as it is anti worker and pro globalism plus CONTROL

that is what your euro army is all about now

but kinnock turned it when he had the reins and look how they ended up making millions out of it personally

makes me spew

Report anxious November 18, 2018 2:13 PM GMT
No lfc you are talking complete rubbish , just because people question things they get called subversives and traitors , really its the classic tory con trick divide and conquer and by god it works because people fall for it time after time
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 2:17 PM GMT
anxious don’t try and act the fool , Corbyn is suddenly quite prepared to allow Britain to stay in the EU
Despite the referendum result , and despite being supposedly anti the EU all his career
Don’t talk rubbish
Report anxious November 18, 2018 2:21 PM GMT
lfc more than half the tory mps voted to remain are they all traitors and anti- british ?
Report lfc1971 November 18, 2018 2:23 PM GMT
I don’t mind people voting remain that’s fine
There is no point going over my views on the Tory remainers
Report InsiderTrader November 18, 2018 2:27 PM GMT
Anxious are you a nationalist?

Do you believe we should put British people first?
Report anxious November 18, 2018 2:44 PM GMT
Yes i do think that is fair but also people from overseas , ie say the irish , british commonwealth etc have always come to this country to find work so yes they should get fair treatment from the government , recently however we have had over 6 million over the last 15 years i believe that is wrong because it undercuts british workers and places more strain on the core services , this is the problem with free movement and the federal  agenda
Report posy November 18, 2018 4:48 PM GMT
anxious is right to single out the biggest issue/problem of unfettered immigration which has swamped the nhs , our state schools and housing.
