The Libs tried being junior partners in a coalition and it didnt work well for them. PR would lead to coalitions every election and more unhappy people unable to understand why the smaller parties in the Government cant implement their entire manifesto.

The really sad thing about Eagle and Smith is that they have no policies and no ideas. They are driven by a desire to keep their privileged lifestyle and are happy to ignore the views of their former voters to achieve this ( which they won't ). As for the working class parents drivel - 1) so what and 2) Stalin's dad was a cobbler and Mao's dad was a poor farmer and they did not turn out to be champions of the working man.
