Those who cried "conspiracy theorist" for so many years have gone quiet. An organised establishment exposed after years of cover up.

Very  true tony a despicable story of over 20 years of slander , lies and vilification lead by the tory party, the police and the Murdoch filth, like other people have said what else has been covered up by the establishment and their friends these people will try to any lengths to brainwash the public to protect their rotten corrupt system

Few emerge with any credit from this sorry tale. 96 innocents lost their lives but let us also not forget the culture at the time which led to the real killer which was the fencing preventing egress of the fans onto the pitch.

As for the miners there was plenty of bad behaviour on both sides.

I knew a lot of policemen in my rugby playing days - the figure of 95% of them being fantastic is to my mind a little on the high side.

' There is no situation so awful that a policeman cannot make it worse ' George Bernard Shaw.

Only a guess but right from the start of my own police training it was drummed in to officers that it was very much them and us and we were a family. There were a relative few complete t1ts at that time but I can imagine a lot of otherwise decent people would have been taken in by this.

I know for sure of one person who tried to fit in and got badly burned and narrowly ended up avoiding jail just because he was put in an impossible position by a superior officer. Of course they were then tried and he was bang to rights but the trial was stopped halfway through due to it "not being in the public interest".

Call it what you will but I call it corruption and it goes to the top.

indeed not just south Yorkshire police what about the west midlands force they were rancid , the carl bridgewater case , the Guilford four , I think people don't like to face up to uncomfortable truths sometimes especially when we are a fed a walt Disney dream world by the system.

95% of them may well be good at the job tony - the question you need to ask is - what is the job ?
