Can any MPs actually define what they mean by hard working families?

Is everybody with a job (full time/ part time ) & a child a hard working family? Maybe only 99.99% of working people with children are in hard working families?
In the same way we could define Tony Blair as living on the bread line, A size zero model as dangerously overweight or Ms Diane as very attractive.

It's very hard work and I'll be selling as soon as the latest occupants leave.
Is a 5 apartment semi detached house that I inherited btw.
Got no problems with the current tenants who will be moving out soon but I won't re-let as my experience with the first lot was pretty poor.

Too many families believing they have a right to have children,even though they can't afford to support them.When the going gets tough the father often disappears leaving the state to pick up the tab,then,to make matters worse,the mother then decides to enlarge the family,putting an even greater burden on the state.Multiply this by thousands up and down the country.
  Add to it the single mums who decided to have kids by anybody,again passing the burden onto the state.Multiply this by thousands up and down the country.Many of the offspring produced are of mixed race.
Yet when a politician attempts to speak out about this situation,which UK seems to specialise in,they are shouted down,and branded all sorts of things.Meanwhile as that great sage Homer said,"It just gets worse and worse!"

Oh unbiased. I seem to remember we used to agree about many things not least the growth of Greater Israel. However your use of the "mixed race" in the context you use it is really worrying to me as someone of my racial and religious background.
Forgive me if I misunderstand your intention but it does seem to me you are suggesting that inclination to depend on a welfare state is a race issue with people like me of mixed race far more likely to be dependent. If I am wrong I am sorry as I am sure you are real honey. If I am right I think I and millions of other human beings of all races have a right to be deeply offended.
Can I ask you to clarify. Are you against non Christian religions and people who are not strictly Anglo Saxon? Where do you stand on whether Jews ar better or worse than Africans? Clarification would be handy as I don't like falling out with people without good cause.

I'm sure unbiased wasn't suggesting that young black men disproportionately move between girls thus creating many single parent households expecting other people to pick up the tab.

Nothing of the sort Ruth. Skin colour is irrelevant. Culture is often relevant but most of all I believe that opinions should be formed on what happens in reality. Does it bother me that I am most likely to be burgled by a young white man? Not if I'm going to be burgled anyway. Nor is it relevant that someone (including black people) are most likely to be mugged by a young black man. I go where the facts take me even if that leads into uncomfortable areas many people fear to tread because they may falsely be branded as racist.

I can only speak from limited experience but a friend's daughter married a fella from the Caribbean area and he had 4 kids to three different girls and raised that to 5 from 4 when he left her. a good lad,incidentally who kept in touch with them all but couldn't settle down and assume his responsibilities.

   I posted my comments,because they are FACTS.Unlike many on this forum I think things through before posting,so am careful to always be accurate.
If you can't accept that many single girls get pregnant by anybody in order to change their life,all over the country,then you aren't in the real world.Very often it is by a guy of ethnic origins,Afro,Asian etc.They then become totally reliant on the benefits system.
Why bring in religion?Totally unnecessary,keep to the topic,and don't try to read into things that aren't there,or make things up.It is about FACTS.

he,s a qustion then,theres 100,s of thousands of self employed encouraged by job centres to begin start ups,just do 16 hrs at gardening,car washing,window cleaning,been a carer,nail bar etc,etc and top up with tax credits benefits etc,which begs the next obvious question off course how do these people now pay themselves the new £9 odd living wage by 2019
so as others lose their jobs ,tax credits these people encouraged by the tories to start up buisness,s [ to get them of the unemployment figures ] have to raise their prices by over 30% to bare themselves the minimum wage,plainly ridiculous

The lefties are really in a mess over this aren't they. It's gone from hating the self-employed to screaming that the self-employed should be subsidised by the state.

Of course if you have a real business you'll have benefited from the large number of tax cuts that more than make up for removal of tax credits. If the business was a sham to get more welfare...

On the one hand the more politically aware amongst them can clearly see that tax credits are simply a subsidy for business and a bribe to gain Labour voters.

On the other we see the bleeding hearts brigade screaming the house down over the hardship that the removing of tax credits will cause to HWF.

I think you can tell by 1st time poster's comments. The left(it is a left issue) are desperate to keep people on welfare. Far be it that anyone is inspired, gets above their station and then no longer votes for Labour.

WORKING tax credits

1st why should some low skilled person who is prepared to work for £7.00 ph get a 30% pay rise for doing exactly the same job they are currently doing.

Those on min wage are currently paid more than they are worth. There is a law which forces employers to pay them that salary regardless of how skilled it is to do that job or what value they bring. Giving a 30% pay rise without an increase in productivity may result in the task being done cheaper in another country.

16 hour weeks is a pretty part-time WORkING , I suspect Labour chose the name as SCROUNGER tax credits may put people from voting for them
