I agree with Dotchinite. Remember Brand is the guy that only a couple of weeks ago was urging everyone not to vote at all. The whole scenario that he could be some sort of guru to young persons is very frightening indeed. What publicity stunt is he going to pull next to fill his coffers?

I remember last time, Sheffield Hallam particularly, a lot of people didn't get to vote as they didn't have their polling cards and due to LA inefficiency where they run their finger up and down 16 sides of names on some paper, when it came to 10pm they were still queueing and didn't get on.
This time could be worse as some will arrive at the polling booth to vote Green or Labour to find they are not even registered, and someone will no doubt blame Russell Brand for this. They'll bleat on demanding a second election because this one wasn't fair.
Lots of nice errors in RB videos: -850bn cost of bank bailouts - check -5,000 fewer nurses - check -tax cuts for being a millionaire - check -food bank users over 1 million - check -austerity - check All bolocks of course, but say it often enough and people believe it.
Still the funniest thing since the Green Party Boyzone video though.

I've said it before don't assume that young people listening to his ultimately self serving boll&&ks that they are going to agree with him.
I know I wouldn't have done in my teens/early 20s let alone now.

Why on earth is this Brand character being put centre stage by the London Media?
Surely any sensible person would view any political endorsement made by Brand as a disaster for the party concerned?

Dotchinite 04 May 15 17:12 Its frightening to think that some people may actually vote for a Govt because Russell Brand has told them to.
It's a damn sight more frightening, anybody wanting to vote for the vermin Tories.

I think it's fair to say that most adults in the UK wouldn't let Brand through their front door. So why on earth is anyone giving him ANY political credibility or a platform? Is it just very poor judgement on the part of the (inevitably) left-wing media outlets?
