Is this your next party leader?ffs
He made Ed Milliband look like a suave sophisticated well educated George Clooney.

Sadly, this American-born Turkish immigrant, bad as he is, will likely be England's new hero.
He will be worshipped and venerated a la Maggie Thatcher, when he is wheeled in to take over the pile of sh ite at Westminster. Give him  six months or a year. He'll be there.

What a fkn prospect!
Report EMPIRE DAY May 5, 2015 8:46 PM BST
it just shows how devoid of talent the tories have become to even consiser boris as a potential leader, after five years of complete incompetance they think boris is the answer
Report CJ70 May 5, 2015 8:49 PM BST
You think the most popular politician in the UK is an electoral liability? Good luck selling that one on the doorsteps, chaps.

londoners only voted him in as mayor for a laugh

and a laugh is what they got
Report BARROWBOY May 5, 2015 8:52 PM BST
Electing an idiot after 5 years of incompetence seems to have worked ok for labour.

So why did they re-elect him?

I am a hard line socialist but the barsteward makes me laugh.  Wouldn't it be great if he was a socialist.

But then we don't have any left now - the Labour party got rid of all that nonsense a couple of decades or so ago.

Correct about one thing, mobo,
nulab is NOT a socialist party.

CJ,
ye say Boris is the most popular politician in UK: what about Nige?
All I keep hearing and reading is that he says what "most" englishmen would like to say if they were brave enough.
if that be the case, how come Nige is less popular than Noris and Boris?
I'm afraid I cannot follow your reasoning.

Yes, B will rise to the top after the impending fiasco and he will be hailed as the new hero, but I wouldn't have thought that he's the most popular clown in GB.
Perhaps he is; where do ye get your figures from? Con and U Head office, I suppose.
That begs the question why are they letting Dave fk it up if they know the blonde turk is so popular?
Report CJ70 May 6, 2015 10:44 AM BST
Well that ones obvious isn't? Farage is more polarising than Boris.
Report CJ70 May 6, 2015 10:45 AM BST
I seem to be afflicted with the disease of missing words this morning.. "that ones obvious isn't it".

Londoners may be able to stomach Boris's sexual shenanigans but oop north we couldn't be having that sort of carry on.
Report CJ70 May 6, 2015 12:34 PM BST
Pfft.. you lot still throw your knickers at the legover from Bolsover.
Report salmon spray May 6, 2015 2:50 PM BST
Denis has never aspired to be PM.
Report sean rua May 7, 2015 12:27 PM BST
Hmmm.
Ye dropped an apostrohe, CJ.Laugh
Election nerves, I suppose.

I cannot see GB(uk) getting a new govt till about July at the earliest. I still think they - the A Team of capitalism - will wheel out Boris to take over and "save the country" ( usual bullsh it excuse for doing something daft).

My expectation was in about a year's time, but, I guess Dave won't mind going early as the last thing he wants to do is call any referendum.
SAINT BORIS, like st george is yet another saviour of the english, hailing from the Middle East.

The cons are playing the long game.
Report sean rua May 7, 2015 12:27 PM BST
apostrophe.
Report CJ70 May 7, 2015 1:23 PM BST
Your lucky I didn't drop more than an apostrophe considering what that convo was about ;)
Report sean rua May 8, 2015 7:03 AM BST
Boris takes his first step without a slip-up.

Dave has managed to shed the so-called partners, so the ATeam of Capitalism now have no excuse.

Working Class fkd as usual, except in Scotland.
