1.Economy - their hands are tied, there's no money
2.NHS - all promising to endlessly pour money into it - see previous point.
3.Housing - they could come up with some policies here, but as far as I'm aware none have other than keep pumping up prices
4.Family - absolute scandal in my view how many, many thousands of children are deprived of their dads by the family courts, usually being those children who need their dads to protect them from violent/ druggy stepdads and mums. None of the major parties believe in doing anything about this, other than carrying on paying women to keep producing ever more kids despite the fact there's no population shortage.
5. Environment - none of them care other than paying lip service and raising 'green' taxes. Could come up with decent and innovative policies like bike lanes everywhere, free public transport.
6. Education - the one differentiator in my view - I wouldn't trust Labour with education after the mess they made last time with everyone awarded 10 A* grades and a place at uni.

I wouldn't vote for any of the main parties - my vote might go to UKIP just because they apparently want 50/50 shared parenting after divorce.

Yes Dave has been an enormous disappointment, his one policy seems to be that he should be prime minister and try to look like a strong leader. Unfortunately he's not actually got anywhere to lead us to.

The Lib Dems and Greens want to make working conditions for prostitutes safer.
Also the Lib Dems want to decriminalise personal possession of drugs.

I don't think jailers will be voting Lib Dem.

Ed, Dave and Nick effectively believe that working people should be compelled to devote around two full days a year of unpaid labour to international development.

All parties are also in denial about food supplies although the latest Defra minister has at least suggested that solar farms should be placed on brownfield sites, factory roofs etc.rather than on productive land. In my part of Somerset at least 500 acres have disappeared under solar panels in the last year alone. There has been plenty of food around the world this year but it may not continue and the UK has the lowest level of food self sufficiency of any of the developed world.

Yes, sageform, as I travel the country ( England), I am amazed how much class A land is being taken by solar panel set-ups.
They must be getting a hefty grant, plus they don't fk about. Even the temporary roads are better than the fkn byways. Only the best for them.

I'm a believer in solar power, but 'tis madness to take greenfield sites. These should be for FOOD PRODUCTION.
I guess the landowners are getting great subsidies.

This is why we need a revolution. cAPITALISM  runs on private profit, not principles.
This also explains why the OP can find no decent political party. There is NONE.  They are all cnts - including the futile pressure group, EWE-KRAP.

Things will likely be WORSE  after the election, not better.
Unless ye happen to be one of the ONEPERCENT  who own and rule the world. if ye are, ye wouldn't be reading this.

Give the FUTURE GENERATIONS a chance. Get with the Cause and forget all the silly bstrds that only want your money ( and your vote).
Report sageform March 30, 2015 3:01 PM BST
We saw the same with wind farms, energy crops etc. When energy is expensive, it is more profitable to use land for that but with oil prices at $55, it might not be and who is going to pay to remove all the unprofitable panels?

More stupid policy decisions based on sentiment instead of intelligence,eh sagey ?
Report susie March 30, 2015 4:37 PM BST
Yes, the Tory policy is that Ed is "tragic" "stone cold" and a "geek", so you don't want to vote for him.
