Remember when Clegg was the clear winner in the leaders debates at the last election? He puffed his chest out expecting to blow Farage away but little did he know that he would get a pin stuck in him and bang. He won't stick his pecker in the fire like that again.

By:
Actually my scientific approach of measuring the debate's plus's & minus's gives the real and accurate statistical analysis-
Farage -12 Clegg + 7 Clegg the clear winner. |

different people get turned on by different things but with madlad I reckon its totalitarianism
being one of the ruling elite in north korea must be his wet dream hee hee |
|
By:
watching cleggy last night- im holding two fingers close together; he was that far away from hysteria
as well as spanning the full range of logical fallacies and straight lies absolutely disgraceful |
|
By:
It reminded me of when Clegg used to be called at PMQs to ask his question as Leader of The Lib Dems.
MPs from both sides would continue their conversations, you could hear some s****ing etc downright dismissive in fact. 38% of those polled think N Farage is a DANGER to the UK according to the Mail. Two inconsequentials discussing, what is not in the voters top ten of concerns, namely the EU. |

The traditional Labour vote has always been heaviest amongst blue collar workers and union members.
When the penny finally drops amongst these groups and they realise how they were sold down the river by labour regarding the erosion of their wages and jobs through immigration, and why housing is so tight also through immigration. As well as the general lowering of standards across the public services. They're likely to put their crosses elsewhere. I don't think it's sunk in to with yet because there's only Farage who seems prepared to tell it as it is. It should seem incredible to anyone who does realise what Labour did, that any worker still supports them considering the damage they inflicted on the working man while they were in office. |
|
By:
The traditional Labour vote hasn't forgotten one thing and that is that Thatcher and the Tories destroyed British industry and their jobs. That is why the Tories have lost all their traditional support in Scotland, the Midlands the North & West of England & Wales.
That is why they are a party of the South East as are swivel eyed loony tunes UKip. As for Farage, you can't win a debate when most of what you say are scaremongering lies. Just like the 3.5 million UKip were spouting on QT last Sept that were supposed to land at Heathrow in Jan from Romania and Bulgaria. It was a lie and everybody knows it. That's why despite Farage getting more publicity than any other politician, and according to the nutters who support them on here saying Farage won these two big debates, UKips share of the vote has gone down one percent since November - Labours support remains at 40% and will win the next General Election - YouGov. So keep dreaming! |
|
By:
Do you have any basis at all for your rabid assertions about Thatcher and manufacturing Mad Lad? I think not. We were the work shop of the world in the late 19th century but this had gradually been eroded since that high point. This turned into a route post second world war for a variety of reasons. By the time Thatcher came along it was a hollowed out shell with government ie the productive taxpayer payig to keep people in jobs which would otherwise not exist. Your deranged Thatcher fantasies are nonsense. She made one conscious decision which mosst of the people agreed with. If you couldn't flourish under your own steam then you needed to move to another sctor where you could. She wasn't always consistent in that view and she could be criticised for that but not for refusing to keep the brain dead on life support.
|

By:

Once again the facts prove you wrong. He did win the debate and comprehensively once again precisely because it is actually you lot telling the lies. |
|

Actually clegg finished with the biggest scaremongering of all when he said he was against the refendum because it would jepeordise the economic recovery.jepeordise his future career path more like |

All countries were subsidising their coal industries.
Britain's coal industry was the most high tech and productive in the world. Thatcher destroyed our coal industry for purely ideological reasons and to destroy the Trade Unions. She, through working class traitors like you, Crippin, CWJ, blackburn who like to think your a cut above the ordinary British worker, succeeded. With the result other countries still have coal industries Germany, France. With us out of the market they have now been able to cease their subsidies. With the powerful unions out of the way we now have falling wages and zero hour contracts courtesy of the latest generation of Tory wreckers. Aint that the TRUTH! |

EU coal nations win fight for subsidies to 2018 BRUSSELS Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:01am EST (Reuters) - Germany and other European coal-mining nations secured an extension of coal subsidies until 2018 after a months-long battle against environmentalists. The European Commission, the EU's executive, had proposed in July that the coal mining industry should only get four more years of state aid before subsidies are phased out in 2014, the sixth such extension of state aid since 1965. But with thousands of jobs on the line, Germany led other coal-mining countries such as Spain in pushing hard to extend subsidies to 2018, to fit around Berlin's own national laws. That battle was settled between EU ambassadors and commissioners at two meetings in Brussels on Wednesday, with Germany getting its way. The deal was rubber stamped by ministers on Friday. http://www.reuters.com/article/2010/12/10/us-eu-coal-idUSTRE6B93D420101210 |

So they haven't lifted they're subsidies. Just proves my point though, our coal competitors on the continent subsidised since 1965.

Oh FFS, Larry, if you have something to say to the lad, just friggin say it. This "masher" stuff, a character with his 200 posts in 10 years (50 when you first introduced him to us on here), dropping in from the clouds to CUT AND PASTE an article (sound familiar?) hoping it takes a swipe at northernlad's views is getting way beyond pathetic and laughable.
Grow some marbles and shed the masks FFS. |

![]() I never noticed it was "masher". When is that new one who's been on since 2007, - jass, going to get another outing Larry? |

Larry, just out of curiosity what happened to your SqueezeFirmly character? You remember, that nice chap who was posting extreme right-wing rubbish on here but always rushing to your defence without a moment's hesitation, him.
You went through the trouble to resurrect him like Lazarus after he was banned, the same time you resurfaced after your third ban yourself, you brought him in shouting some insults my way every day and then...........NOTHING. He vanished from sight. Was it a technical glitch, or some other thing you messed up and went wrong which caused you to lose that particular alias? |
|
By:
What a monmentally stupid and bombastic idiot you are. Take the hint and don't ever over reach yourself like this. Feel free to pop on to the chit chat forum where squeeze firmly was a legendary poster. Legendary and sadly for you also met in the flesh by many of the posters there who will confirm who he is. You poor deluded sap.
|
|
By:
Now ***THAT*** is some impressive rhetoric, Larry.
You can resurface posting again within days after a ban, you can resurrect any other of your aliases that have been banned, you can create as many forum names as you please, you can take down posts and threads at will and you can abuse anyone you want with complete impunity simply because you know Betfair can't touch you. You tha man, Lare, you tha man. You own this forum, no wonder you chose to make it your life. You are also a lowlife and a complete psychopath, who has yet to utter a single original thought on here, but there is no doubt when it comes to this forum..........YOU THA MAN, LARE, YOU THA MAN. |

VERY INTERESTING NORTHERNLIAR northernlad5 03 Apr 14 14:32 No I don't! I used to, but all the Asian lads I employ have British passports, that way I don't have to continually check and keep records of Visa's. I always had local English workers on reception and driving but know for the first time I have taken on three English lads in the kitchen and they are very good. Until now I couldn't get an local English worker to work in the kitchen. I know employ more local English workers than Asian. Not that employing migrants would bother me. We have plenty of Polish in Blackpool but they never apply for a job. I used to have quite a few Kurdish but they have gone and set up their own business. So migrants don't just take jobs they also create them. |
