It seems the Mail is really going for this guy's head for trying to gag a regional manager with public money. Who do they think they are,these people seem to think they can abuse taxpayers money to prevent a whistleblower exposing their own ineptitude. I reckon it is 1.01 that he resigns shortly and rightly so as an example to so many other public/quangocrats who regard themselves as above the law.

It shows the defiant attiotude of these 'top people' lamps that the concept of honour and resignation never enters their minds. I suppose all they do is watch the laughable attempts at leadership from our politicians for 30 years though.

It's absolutely unbelievable that no one has resigned or been sacked over this.
If this happened in a private hospital the whole business would have been shut down but the NHS appears untouchable.

He should be sacked, end of. Failure to show leadership on this matter reflects very badly on Cameron and demonstrates the cowardice we have had in DowningStreet since Thatcher left office.
