I have to say Ed Balls response to Osborne was one of the worst parliamentary performances i have ever seen,more open goals than an empty football stadium and he missed the lot,and sounded bloody awful doing it. FFS GET HIM OUT AND PUT SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK IN HIS JOB.
Pandora i quite agree with your comments about Balls.I am no Socialist yet putting party politics aside it was indeed a dire performance. I can't stand the man (or the witch his wife)but I did have a mild respect for his ability to constantly deny that he and his boss Brown the incompetent had any responsibility for letting public spending grow out of control during his tenure in office. No longer do i have such mild respect ;the man was terminally useless today and must have been either ill or drunk;he didn't seem to have any grasp on what he was saying. He could well become the Conservative's greatest asset at the next election.

'pensioners paying the price' - yeah right Ed, the only pension change I saw was on the annual amount you can claim tax relief which was reduced from 50k to 40k. Very embarrassing. Although there are some good potential replacements for the prat.
