It is worrying, we need Ed Mili for 2015
Still, we might get Ed Balls instead and he's pure voter repellent and an economic pygmy so maybe the country is safe from socialists for a while yet |
By:
![]() yep loser written all over the bloke |
By:
Yes, we need Milliband to be replaced by Balls for the sake of the country. He'll be the final nail in the coffin of the sell out party aka labour
By:
He's now relying on Ken Livingstone to win, in order to save his job

By:
You've got to laugh at the Labour party in general.
Get their arse kicked by the very people they brought in to swell their share of the vote ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Opposition is easy you silly little boy, you just disagree with every govt cut,
He spends most of his tiome agreeing with them...we have no opposition party |
By:
Poor Ed. The keep David out candidate who was going to unite the party from the left. You would have to have a heart of stone not to laugh.
By:
It is the way of the world.
There is no opposition hasn't been for 15 years. The Financiers run both parties. (Sorry, all "3" parties) |
By:
Hardly Milibands fault that a raving nutter has chosen a seat full of other nutters told them what they wanted to hear and got elected.
By:
chuka umunna would be a landslide victor for Labour at the next GE,sort it!
By:
The Liberals are the de-facto opposition; Labour are, at the moment, an irrelevance

By:
Rockin Horse
Seems like yet another in a growing line of greasy con men scrabbling to the top of the pole to me. He makes Blair look the model of sincerity. |
By:
Come to think of it you may be right about the landslide.

chumawumba or whatever his name is comes across as nearly as thick as Ed Balls which is saying something. In any economic debate he would be crushed inside a couple of minutes.
Even more unelectable than Ball. Burnham is the man im just amazed Labour cant see that. |
By:
There is something about Burnham I like. I'm not sure what it is. Perhaps it is that for a politician he seems relatively normal. That is why he will never get within shouting distance.
By:
Chuckles does that thing which Blair used to do. He speaks in a way which will superficially make people think that he is a deep thinker and man of principle. Of course anybody with any sense will see straight through him. The point is that he will be able to fool enough of the people enough of the time.
By:
And don't forget that he is a non threatening black man who subscribes to the way whitey does things. He has a lot going for him. The British Obama no less.

Chikka wouldnt be an ideal world choice,my electron microscope has eliminated 95% of this current sorry crop, chukka is all thats left alive on the specimin slide

It wasn't that important. To heel weeth the grammur, speeling and puncktuashion fascists.
By:
Chuka is a tub thumping lightweight devoid of independent thought
His saving grace is that he is untainted by the last 'rotten parliament' of Brown unlike the bulk of the present opposition |
By:
It's only a matter of time before we get the next campaign at the Labour party conference........Milliband OUT, we want Milliband to be the saviour of our party ! Er,some confusion here ?
By:
we want Milliband to be the saviour of our party !
Only a tory could utter those words right now |
By:
no confusion
By:
Er...you do know Labour are ten points ahead in the polls?
By:
And what were the polls saying last night, reality, the press will go to town on Milliband....only on the eve of an election can he sustain it
By:
You wonder if history is repeating itself and whether Little Ed is leading Labour into a 1983 election result a la Michael Foot.
He is utterly out of his depth. I don't think I know of a party losing a seat at a parliamentary by-election in opposition and going on to win a General Election. |
By:
Anyone who seriously thinks Ed can lead the Labour party to an election victory is deluding themselves.

Says the guy whose party is polling at 8%... |

If you really think it is an impossibility then by all means hoover up all that value on the Tories to win most seats. Ladbrokes offer 10/11 on the Tories, you can probably get better elsewhere. I think your all mouth and no trousers. Don't give me that crap about tieing up your money for two years-no one is getting 50% return on investment pa from stocks or other vehicles right now. |
By:
cheese
He id deputy PM, his party is in government, it gets plenty of useful legislation through which wouldn't be a priority for the Tories on their own and many of its MP's have front bench roles. Not bad for 8%. Remind us how many years Foot served as PM? |
By:
I think there is a lot which can happen between now and then but hand on heart I don't think most Labour supporters will think that thus far Ed has been an electoral asset.
By:
cheese, I post an opinion, take it or leave it but if you really think he is that good do what you think best. My bets are my concern but you are really kidding yourself if you think the british public will ever take to Ed Miliband.
By:
The Bradford result tells us that attempts to consign Iraq, Afghanistan, Blair and Brown to history and "move on" are easier said than done.
Despite an abysmal Budget, hapless handling of the fuel talks by trying to use it for political means, and the customary tax scandals Labour still contrived to lose to Galloway. |
By:
they are sleepwalking, the mechanism of a press onslaught would be unleashed upon them with a couple of weeks to an election, add a few sweeteners for the braindead by the tories and you could have an almost unthinkable second term for these vile upper crust toffs, the politics of spin, and snmoke /mirrors will be in overdrive,Milliband wont make prime minister, get some fire and brimstone in the people need a voice now not a parrallel tory party, Galloway recognises this
