They are failing on every level! in my 20yrs following politics I don't think i've ever seen a worse government than this, its like England under Graham Taylor, its bloody awful.

Pierre clearly spent the Gormless debacle under a heavy object with no access to the outside world. Poor bugger.

Pretty sure i heard Emma Harrison on Radio 4 a few weeks ago complaining
about Brown not giving her company a chance. I'm definitely no fan
of his but it seems he called this one correctly.

When people realise that the 'government' are just puppets Lib-Lab-Con-BNP-UAF... etcetera...

... then people will realise how 'democracy' is just a game of controlling the sheep.

Don't forget, 'Great Britain' is now under EU control.

They are useless.  I would still vastly prefer them to Brown or, heaven forbid, Balls though.

Really?  I thought Ms Harrison has been on the government payroll for years and years?

They were taken on under Labour BUT their role VASTLY INCREASED UNDER CAMERON who lauded her as a fantastic entrepreneur and increased contract 100 fold!

POOR OLD DAVE.....

Can he get anything right!

So it's sort of labour's fault, but more so Cameron Willy?  Bit like the reverse for PFI under Tories and then the crazy loon Brown?

Cameron has to take the blame for this - he need not have extended the contract - instead he RAMPED IT UP!

If you check your facts about PFI you will actually find it was initiated under.....JOHN MAJOR!.....

I'd say this govt is quite bad as opposed to the last lot who were very bad. I've never known a govt that is any better than average, none of them are good.

I can no longer enter any debate with my head on straight
we are being so shafted from all sides that it is no longer a level playing field
there is little sensible debate or ideas being offered by business or government
whilst they all dip into the trough that we pay for and they exploit
the old national front chieftan tank tactic for brick lane should be applied to government instead!!!

This is the worst government ever. I blame the Lib Dums

Be nice to them, Clay.
They inherited the worst starting position ( financially ) of any govt in living memory. With spending commitments of astonishing scale, and a note saying that there was no money. And without any experience unless from 13 years previous and they've had to operate as a Coalition ( also a new thing, excepting WW2 ).
It's just that whoever's in charge always ends up wanting a piece for themselves and their friends - perhaps stronger penalties are needed, or the Queen, Anna Hazare, Prince William and Prince Harry should form some kind of A-Team ( A for anti-corruption ), step up and knee-cap any politician feathering their own nest. We know what happens to Chinese officials when they are caught.

This government isn't great but they aren't even the worst of this century.

As bongo said they inherited a complete mess. It isn't only the financial situation. They have inherited a bunch of youngsters who have been badly let down by the education system and in many cases have neither the skills or attitude to make themselves employable.

The country has seen a massive rise in immigration which has put huge pressures on schools, hospitals and housing not to mention the million plus jobs that have gone to immigrants.

The biggest damage though is probably the sense of entitlement that has entered many sections of society. The country is a mess and without hard hitting in some case draconian policies it is hard to see things getting better.

It could be worse we could have the two eds with their hands on the wheel.

Not as good as Thatcher but still infinitely better than the Brown regime and Blair who squandered a decent economy and a benign decade.

all governments are bad as they are all proxies of international bankers/the financial elite

do you see any evidence to the contrary?

They did create a shambles. but the tories are adding to the shambles not fixing it.

Be patient Pierre, Rome wasn't bult in a day and our economy took 4 years to repair in 1979.

"all governments are bad as they are all proxies of international bankers/the financial elite"

Accepted, if you also accept that they are also in place for their own enrichment and those of their public sector parasite supporters (and by this I don't mean the real public servants but the council associate directors of nothing in particular and the "private sector" villains who get vast contracts for their taxpayer funded businesses above their actual worth)

This is why imo government should be as small as possible.
