So, playing poker I got a message that I would be temporarily logged out, after which I would be able to log back in. I couldn't so I come on here and find the service announcement that it is 90 minutes. The thing is, I was registered for a tournament (no. 822639886) and looking in the lobby 2 other players appear to be logged in and still playing - I was chip leader and now I am just about blinded off.
So two questions:
1) So how are they able to play when we are logged out? Is this related to it being a network skin?
2) Would it not be possible to show the service announcement (including the fact it is going to be 90 minutes) in the client when we log in, at least for 24 hours beforehand? I wouldn't have registered for the tournament if I had known I din't have a chance to win.
It was a very small buy-in tournament, so I don't care about the entry fee or prize this particular time, but a situation like this does make me less inclined to play for higher stakes on Betfair when it would matter.
