Christmas Bounty MTT tonight there are four bounties. Knock one out and you get a prize.

How many of the 4 Betfair staff  bounty players do you think actually bothered to log on and play ?

There was at least 3 sat out all game. Meant to be a chance for them to experience the product and engage with their customer base via chat facility. They used to do it once upon a time.

Whats the point in them having a bounty tournament if their staff/pros cant be arsed ? Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the product is it ?

The money might as well have gone into the prizepool and made it worth playing for. 444 runners and 10th place gets $12 ?

We've been going 2 hours already and theres still 70 odd players left in FFS.

Cant say I'm shocked by the number of sit outs gnash. Its Christmas and its Friday night, most people dont want to be playing a 5-6 hour game in the hope of winning a fiver. 10 minute blinds is bad enough but the miniscule increases each level mean its gonna go on forever.

Im only playing it till the rugby finishes then Im off out.

Mind you how are their staff ever meant to gauge the impact of the structure when 3 dont turn up and the other gets knocked out after 20 minutes ?

I had 2 sit outs at my table and lost the majority of my stack to a flush chaser. In fairness I sucked him in to catch as I seen the draw was there. I lasted 30 minutes.

I'd have been happy against 1 or 2 at my table Plain

on a tangent, is john tab  still a sponspored player? he always chatted in comps like this, even when he was 10 tabling at the same time.
also has betfair live stopped? always was good fun reading thrappers threads/updates.

No idea what the situation is with JT, or Elisabeth Hille for that matter. They may still be BF pro's, they may not, if they are then they are hardly a great advert for the poker site if we have zero visibility of them and their exploits.

I know Richard ( ex Betfair Poker PR ) left about a year ago to go and work for Stars and since then there has been minimal engagement with the dwindling player base on the Forum. The fact they didnt bother showing up for their own Bounty Tournament sums up their attitude towards us imho. As does the fact we are still waiting for payouts on the pre-Christmas promos. The whole thing is just shambolic.

I did see Thrappers at Klups live game in the summer. He said he had been told he wasnt required to blog the WSOP, where presumably BF had players, because they didnt consider it relevant to doccument their trip. Not seen anything on his Facebook page to suggest he has been out and about, so again assume the blogs have been knocked on the head.

you make me laugh chipfire... after all these years you are still here telling us what a cowboy oufit  betfair has become.
As it happens, I agree with you.But surely its time you have to admit that that it is a waste of time criticising them as they simply do not care.I am surprised betfair poker still exists tbh.Let them go under . They deserve it

I played and cashed in this FREEROLL as I was eligible for it.

I foolishly came back here in October/November for 2 Promotions which on the face of it looked excellent value, and lo and behold I havent been paid what I am owed despite sending 6 emails chasing it. If it was 20 quid or something I would just leave it and fk off elsewhere, but its a three figure sum so I dont feel like I can let it go. I would be happy to see them go under once they pay me what I'm owed.

Barring the promotion period I have played minimal amounts since the switch from Ongame, usually just the odd sit and go while playing the Monthly Elite MTT, eligibility for which is based on last years rake. Thats is, or at least was, a 5k Freeroll usually with 60 or 70 runners. Again I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face, and not play a Freeroll offering that sort of value, especially when I keep cashing in it.

I dont have any money in my BF account, I'm not using the exchange which I have a £5 exposure limit on anyway, Im self excluded from Casino/Arcade and all that jazz, and I dont intend playing any more poker on the site.

As I've said on several threads, I came back for 2 promos and it was a big mistake. This thread is about a MTT which was part of one of those Promos, and I hold my hands up and admit I shouldnt have come back in mid-October.
