I sent the screen shots last night and apparently they have been forwarded to the Promotions Team ( presumably along with everyone elses ) to hopefully get the tickets added.

The impression I get from my correspondence is that they appear to have no idea what folk have and havent won and are reliant upon people mailing them Trophy Cabinets;not sure whats to stop you mailing them a screen shot of somebody elses, but there you go.

Sounds like it will just end up like the usual promo where anyone mailing and asking for entry will get it.

They haven't mentioned the balance due for the second half of the promo- the first payment was 4 days late I think, so presumably this one will be the same.

I had to speak to live chat as well, got credited 24 hours later, they should double check everyone whos won one, be alot easier and customers would be happier.

Morning all, as you all predicted payment for the Road to Brazil part of the promo has yet to be credited, it clearly states in the T &C's that all final payments will be made within 24hrs of the promo ending at 23:59 on 17/12.

Also the link I posted last night is not working for me this morning (I took a screen last night just in case), I didn't opt in until after the 'interim payment' but managed to get upto the $75 mark, not exactly a fortune I know but $75 is $75, I'll get on to live chat shortly and report back here.

I hadn't played on Poker for a while before this but gather this is a regular issue with the poker promos from what I've been reading, I have to say it must be a problem team specifically as any promos I've opted into on Sportsbook or Casino I've not had any issues at all?

I think they just over-extend themselves. They are good at dreaming up complex ( well complex for them anyhow ) promotions that are interesting, but unfortunately they dont seem able to cope with the important bit, which is delivering what they have promised.

Where I work we are constantly told to under promise and over deliver- BF poker seem to function in the opposite way. If they had told players payments would be credited within 5 days and paid out within 3 everyones happy-if they say they will pay out within 1 day and pay out in 3 they get bombarded with complaints. I honestly dont know why they keep doing it.

Unfortunately its quite commonplace for players to have to chase prizes or point out how Leaderboards are meant to be calculated. Its been this way for at least 5 years.

That's not good, surely you'd be doing everything in your power to ensure the promotions you run are over delivered on every time, it's pretty standard for any buisness for to practice that way if they want keep customers coming back, quite baffling really as betfair are a HUGE national company known by just about everyone in the UK and beyond.

I stopped playing on betfair when they took down the old poker client (can't remember maybe 2009/2010ish) I used to play regular and still miss it today, the client had it's issues but there was a good regular community of people and tournemnts etc.

I came back about a month or so ago because the promos looked good and the VIP freerolls interested me, got myself upto 5* status pretty quickly only to find the vip freerolls were taken away, I only played one.

I tried twice to contact live chat now and not got through to a human being yet.

Overall it's been a poor show from the poker team, I may have to go elsewhere again.

Ok just to update I finally got through to chat to as always have refer to 'The Team', honestly what is the point of hiring someone to work on live help if they don't have the power to resolve any issues?

Poker is a tiny and probably unprofitable part of their business and the Helpdesks are manned by staff who are only able to answer very basic poker queries and have to refer everything else on. I guess they have such a small number of poker players ( UK based ones anyway ) that it doesn't warrant the expense of recruiting and training then employing dedicated poker staff.

At the end of the day the company is becoming more and more like a high street bookmaker with each passing week, and like them it ideally wants mug punters betting in multiples and hammering their casino/arcade games where their profits are largest.

Well I got my Final Payment for the Brazil Promo having completed 47 days.

All I will say is that they have sent me £33, and I'm assuming someone has missed a digit off the front of that.

What a fking utter and total shambles.

On the promotions page it says I'm due $75 - I got £11.51 this payment and £3.76 interim payment giving me a rough total of $25.

I have a screen grab of what the Brazil promos page says and I'm certainly gonna chase this up.

I think its pretty clear they have absolutely no idea what prizes people have won or how much poker they have played, which suggests either they have lost a big chunk of data again, or they dont have anyone who can analyse it and then act upon it.

I was going to have another stab at the Snowball promo but my gut instinct tells me this will also be farcical given they have already changed the T and C.

Withdrawing funds, and after tomorrow night will be considering self excluding from all BF products Im not already self excluded from. If I get the hundred quid or so I'm owed will be a bonus, but losing the will to keep chasing it.

Total mess,  was expecting a few hundred dollars got 30.

The scratch cards were bad enough, the last week ( maybe 300 cards) have all been the 1c tokens. I ended up with a thousand of them.

If you read back through the thread it should be fairly obvious to whoever has to sort out the mess at what point it all went pear shaped.

The sliding tracker thing along the bottom was working fine at the beginning, then people on the Forum pointed out it was going backwards instead of forwards. I suspect at that point it started subtracting instead of adding your days ?

The way this Freeroll is structured gonna be a lot of people end up cashing for about a tenner. It's already paying top 63 and there was only 190 runners including sit outs.

Final Table bubble for tonights Freeroll gets a whopping $60 and God only knows what time it will finish. My guess with 619,000 chips in play would be around 1 a.m if they play reasonably loose.

sent them an email yesterday requesting my freeroll tickets, got usual templete saying they will forward it to poker team. still didnt get my freeroll tickets. got zillions of 1c stt tickets[yippee, not]  but missed out on the decent bit of the promo. did my my cake thou.

Also only 200 entries at start of tourney and ended up with 413, lot of bf....... entries had 3 on my table.

It was a re-buy LC up until around level 6. I had 4 entries, though I only used 3, so everytime you got knocked out you could simply re-register if you had tokens left.

The downside was that it diluted the prize money, and the slowplaying around the bubble was horrific.

I just gambled with my rebuys till I doubled up then tightened up till after the bubble to make sure I cashed. The difference between 20th and 63rd was only 8 bucks so there wasnt much point taking risks. The only decent starting hand I picked up all game was 10/10, funnily enough the hand I went out with, and I went pretty deep, so clearly the standard wasnt great.It was mostly just a case of looking for good spots to steal, which wasnt that hard given how much limp/folding was going on.

Steve 10k was on my table for about 2 hours and was doing something similar.

Yes last night was a trial run for me in readiness for tonight,there was nothing I could see which stated when the re-entry period ended, but it appeared to be at the same time as late reg ended, which was around the time of the first break.

You also have to manually re-enter yourself which meant the sit-outs left the game the first time they were blinded out, which was a relief, as waiting for them to blind out 4 times would have taken forever.

Basically you get 4 chances to double or triple up in the first hour. As long as you manage that, and the odds are heavily stacked in your favour, then its just a case of managing your stack so you guarantee a cash with a playable stack. The bubble went on for around 30 minutes last night, it was complete paralysis and Timebank City, but it was a great opportunity to chip up at the expense of those on your table who were clearly only going to call with AA or KK.

With double the prizepool tonight you should be able to pick up $40-$50 by scraping into the money without actually playing more than a couple of hands once you double up early.

I built up a $5,000 chips by level 10 with my first re-entry, played 66 really badly but shoved because I had 2 other bullets.

Didn't realise the other 2 bullets were dead by level 6

It's the first re-entry I've played, I'll know better tonight ffs.

To be honest Ted you dont. I assumed I had 4 entries as thats how many was on the screen shot I sent them.

Theres nothing to tell you how many lives you got or when they expire. From what I could gather the re entry period ended after 9 o clock because thats when the field started reducing rapidly and people getting knocked out weren't coming back.

However dont take this as Gospel its just what appeared to happen last night, and clearly there were people even in the early stages getting knocked out and not coming back who presumably only had one entry.

I won 4 tickets for tonights freeroll, but the nice guys at betfair have credited me with 16!!
I'm gonna be gambling like crazy for the first hour!

Well I doubled up first hand a 10 vs j 10 so started well.

Another 1500 second hand a 9 vs 5 2

none in my poker, just 1 token i used. barely played a hand , moved table 3 times, once back to first table.

WARNING - if you had more than 4 tokens, only 4 count.  I had 7 or 8 but the rest are worthless as I'm out after only using 4.

I got on to live support again 2 days ago and was once again told someone would email me with a resolution and ofcourse have heard nothing, not sure I can be bothered to keep folowing it up.

With regards to the matrix, they are looking for reasons not to pay out.

I had a response saying they are sorry blah blah, esculating to the specialist team etc.... and oh yes you played 43 days and got over 1000 points but any status points earned under 10 will not contribute.  So will await response from the specialist team.

NOWHERE did it say you have to earn a minimum of 10 status points for a day to actually count.

This is without doubt a way for them to reduce the payout bonus.

Well I ensured I gathered the exact number of status points every day I played, no more no less, to get maximum value from the promo. They owe me a chunk but not sure I can be boshed to chase it.

Like I said, it looks like they are going to have to make the payments by doing manual checks on a player by player basis which could take forever.And I cant imagine many of the Promotions Team will be working over Xmas and New Year.

Like many I came back for the Xmas Promos, and I got a few quid out of it, but its been such a hassle I wouldnt consider coming back and playing here in the New Year. Ive got a few hundred in the account now which I can withdraw and stick into another Network. There seem to be a few good new sign up deals out there so might have a shop around.

They've removed the Brazil warm up page so you can't check what you should have. I'm still missing 11 x $1.10 tickets and around 500 of those 1c games. $5 is better in my pocket than Betfair's.

I got a mail back essentially saying the Promotion is over, its too late to do anything, but as a gesture of goodwill we have given you a $10 MTT ticket.

Oh and 4 free spins on the Arcade, but as Im self excluded not sure how I redeem those.

I'm sure in the T&Cs it said nothing about you need a min 10 points for a day to actually count.

It would mean that a lot of the bonuses mentioned on the matrix would never have existed.  For example 10 days & 50 points = $2.50.  Following their new found logic, that is impossible to be.  To get 10 days you have to have 10 days of at least 10 points = more than 50 points.

I don't have a screen grab and I can't prove anything now they've removed the promotion page but I'm missing $50 cash, 11 x $1.10 tickets, 500 of those useless 1c spins and STTs (I would take $5 instead) and 130 VPP points which I would use as I'm on a RB deal. He did credit me with tickets for tonights $2k and $1k freerolls.

I'm more concerned about the randomness of this promotion, winning 20 of those 1c tickets in a row is astronomical and to win the same several day in a row is near impossible. If these weren't random then is the top prizes random or did they just pick someone they know? I haven't seen a list of winners.

Overman - the scratch cards were not random at all. My last 200+ were all 1c vouchers.

It would be difficult how a Poker company could invent a worst promotion than this Brazil idea. However it must be odds on that the Smart Minds in Malta/Hammersmith can do it again.

The promotion was great Mexico, it was the running and implementation of it that was the problem.

The 1c games weren't worth playing and I never got a chance to have a "free spin". I would like the cash equivalent for them though as I kept to my side of the promotion but Betfair haven't stuck to theirs.

Thinking back to my "gaming team" comment above. I'm thinking the Poker site is now run like the rest of the pot luck games on the site. The "Gaming team" don't understand poker and it's just a game of luck. That's why we got 1c free spins to encourage us to play the slots. As someone pointed out at the start of the promo the free spins you had to play through your initial credit something like 30 times before you could actually withdraw any money, so it was just about trying to get poker people using the Arcade. It was flawed from the outset and got progressively worse. The prizes were clearly not random, hardly anybody played the 1 cent games, nobody could get the free spins to work, the STT tickets weren't credited, the tokens for the Freerolls werent credited, the first payment was 4 days late, the second payment was late, and when it was made it was horribly inadequate, so that some of us who had been grinding for over a month are sat waiting for three figure sums we may never get.

As a result those of us who came back for the promotion have merely had our doubts about this promoters competence confirmed.

Nothing about it was great- other than we got a few quid out of the Freerolls.

Any m0r0n can dream up a brilliant looking promotion, but if you cant deliver any aspect of it, how does that equate to being great ? It was an interesting concept, and thats about as far as it went. What I suggest you do before dissing posters like Mexico is grab yourself a dictionary, and look up the word promotion.

It was only 60 per cent RB IF, and its a very big IF, you played all 50 days at the top end, AND played EXACTLY the number of games required, AND actually got paid what you were due. For most it worked out at around 50%, and that was assuming you got paid, and thus far all the evidence suggests nobody has.

The fact you are having to chase what you are due, had to hassle Live Support for tokens, and HOPE the site will pay you what you are due 5 days after the promo ended, confirms how great it was at achieveing its aim of promoting the site.

The promotion wasnt great, the customer service wasnt great, and the delivery wasnt great. These are completely undisputable facts. It may well have been a great concept, but the fact you fully admit they couldnt deliver confirms as a promotional tool it failed and failed miserably.

You can stick the name chipfire227 into Sharkscope and see how good BF Poker has been for me down the years, Im not talking sour grapes here, but the reality is that their Poker product has been going down the pan for years. WE PAY FOR THESE PROMOS via paying the highest entry fees anywhere in the Western World, and we shouldnt have to spend hours firing off mails or sitting waiting for live chat.

What you should have said was that YOU THOUGHT it was a great promotion for you personally, because thats what your comments in your role as unofficial PR Manger for BF amount to. I've barely played on the site since the switch from Ongame, and when I did it was for the Elite Freerolls. I play 90 per cent of my poker elsewhere.

I came back for this promotion-

Was the first payment made on time- NO

Was the second payment made on time- NO

Was the payout correct- NO

Were you able to use the free spins- NO

Were tokens issued for the Freeroll- NO

Were STT tokens issued- NO

Were VPPs credited correctly - NO

I could go on but I think its pretty obvious that the promotion failed in pretty much every way, shape, and form, and the only way players got credited was if they complained to the Helpdesk, and even then they didnt get paid everything. Nothing was done automatically when it was promised, and most of us are owed money, and a fair bit more than 3 quid.

Last time I looked this was the poker forum and a place where folk could discuss their issues. If people are owed money and have come up against a brick wall trying to get it they are entitled to be unhappy. To be honest, the last thing they want is a 2 dollar player telling them everything is great, and if they dont like it to fk off and play elsewhere.

From what I recall that was pretty much your attitude when loads of us were getting repeat disconnections- " it works fine for me so who cares ? "
