I hope even more that you reply to this but I suspect that is a forlorn hope
Why have you deliberately destroyed one of the best poker communities on the internet as well as one of the best poker rooms
You have had 3 platforms over the last 5 years or so and have progressively worsened with every change
I know your customer base has shrunk and that your customer goodwill has all but vanished
Do you have a master plan to breath life into a dying product or are you management so arrogant and over paid that they dont care as long as they have their massive salaries...it wont last forever if you continue along the path of self destruction
I hope that you can swallow so pride or control your arrogance and repair the mess you have created
you can check your records I was a medium volume player on the old betfair but havent played on the busted flush of a site for a while and wont
this isnt sour grapes or bitterness more sadness really

Poker is obviously non core, whereas Deal or No Deal.......community is also non core.......

had some great times on betfair poker. overall i was a losing player, but good promotions and gifts, plus laughs, made it worth while. not any more. value has been chipped away. there's many other sites offering much better now.

Couldnt agree more. I've hardly played here since the crypto days. The last time I poked my nose around the door the only tournaments filling up were for 1 or 2 dollars, and they took a few minuted to fill. Combined with the highest rake i've ever seen and several ludicrous badbeats i've not bothered since. You may as well fold it up now because its the worst site out there now

I'd too endorse your comments and sentiment Ob9, progressive platforms erosion, no regard for customers,in fact terminal disregard, again the absence of a volume of concern here demonstrates their mismanagement of their poker arm - their only masterplan must be Oblivion.

They dont even bother e-mailing me to try & tempt me back in, use to play a lot on old BF, never downloaded the i-poker software, don't play anywhere else now - never have - & use the exchange on a regular basis. Different priorities for the poker team now I guess?

Cant imagine they make any money off the poker so probably cut right back on the staff.As I've said many times its a product they offer but only because they have to, and they certainly dont seem to proactively promote it.
When me and Thrappers went to the Q and A things the first one or two they seemed to be genuinely interested in trying to improve things for the players and build the site, but by the last one we went to I felt they had all just about given up. And thats the ones who hadnt left for something better. Talking of Thrappers I notice he hasnt been blogging from any live events and there was nothing from him or anyone else for that matter from the WSOP, even though they had Betfair sponsored players playing. All very sad but hey ho, nothing lasts for ever. |

Oh it's Poker is it? I thought it was bingo. The RNG needs telling that its actually a SKILL game not a CHANCE game.
