I've been disconnected every 5 minutes the last hours.
Anyone else struggling, or is it just me?

If you are talking about I-poker, I have never managed to complete a single STT without being disconnected at least once. Other people at the table seem to go missing a lot as well. They keep saying it isn't a problem but clearly it is.
Have the same issues when playing on Betfred but nothing like as bad as on BF. It would be nice if someone somewhere at BF could acknowledge that there's a problem and it's being investigated, but like I said, when I raised it with them a couple of weeks ago they said it was sorted. |

Resetting my internet cures my problems. Since I've went down the wired route I haven't had too many problems.
Not sure why this only happens with I-Poker BTW but it's fixed 95% of any problems I had. |

 you not hear fek all from him then when he posts it's what is up on promo page anyway ! But as betfair are 2nd rate these days seems only fitting that NEW software should run like a 2nd hand washing machine. |

He rang me the other week, and we discussed why I hadnt bothered with the new site so I told him,too many login and disconnection issues when I first tried it so went elsewhere.
I was due ten bucks off some Ongame promo which they never paid me so he gave me ten dollars worth of tickets on Ipoker and said give it a try, you should find all the disconnection issues are resolved now. In fairness it was slightly better than previously, I was only getting disconnected every 10 minutes or so and it normally came back up after 20-30 seconds, but you cant do anything else at all on the computer, you cant play more than 2 tables at a time and entering any text in chat or notes also crashes it. I get a scripting error message on a regular basis with a URL address, and I thought about sending this to their Customer Services, but most of my previous dealings with them, of which there have been many, have been negative. You just know you will get a standard email back saying passed to the relevant department and 2-3 days later a reply saying delete cookies, like you hadn't already done that. At the end of the day I dont want to wait 2-3 days for someone to reply to my mails, or ring a 30 pence a minute number and sit on hold for 10 minutes. I just want to log on somewhere and play poker, and it's not like I'm spoilt for choice in terms of options. He seems like a nice enough bloke, but then most of them I've met from Betfair are nice enough blokes. His job is promotions so I guess site reliability and customer service is other folks remit. But all the promotions in the world wont make a difference if people cant log on or stay logged on. |

I played 10 earlier Chip although the annoying lobby popping up and having to manually close each table down is a real pain. It doesn't suit multi tabling but then I guess all the better multi tablers will flock to Stars.
I'm really having no issues, loving the lower rake games and making a profit again. Give the $5.40 Betfair only game a go Chip, I'm waiting in the lobby, you'll maybe understand why I like it here. |
