Can anyone confirm that Bwin are merging with Party poker tomorrow (17/12/12)? Couple of posters on 2+2 claim they have received an e-mail explaining about it.

I thought they had been gradually migrating rather than moving everyone in one hit, but that was just my understanding.

Tbh, I dont know how they've gone about it, but apparently the software upgrade starts tomorrow and that will be it for Bwin on the Ongame network. I really wish that a BF rep could come along and say whats in the pipline for Betfair poker instead of leaving us all in the dark. We all know that betfair on the Ongame network now is pointless and obviously they do too so are they gonna join another network or give up on the poker side of things? Why dont they say anything? For a big company like Betfair to not commnicate with its player base is disgusting!

Well said JC.

I recently filled out a survey for Betfair where I mentioned there was no communications on the forum. This should be the first place they should be announcing any new promotions and hyping the site up. All the forum is used for is the juiced debate and knocking the site down. If they want people to play here they should at least promote it.

This might save ongame:

Remember guys, ongame was bought a few weeks ago, and I dont think new owners dont have a new plan up after bwin parts.

that would explain the drop in guaranteed prize pools...by a big margin. the 8k brazilian is now 4k , to name just one.
After reading the article about the recent sale of Ongame I don't think the future looks too bright
