Hey guys,

Jonathan here.  I am sorry to say that I will not be able to attend the tournament today as I am in day 2 of a WPT Montreal event.  Since I won't be there to award my bounty, next week's bounty on my head will be twice as rewarding, $120 Betfair poker Live London qualifier ticket & a $108 MTT tournament ticket will be awarded to the person who knocks me out next week.

If I bust and make it in time to the tourny everything will be as normal but just making sure everyone is aware.  So good luck and bring it down!

Was anyone able to rejoin this game?

No, but I did ask them about it and reply:

It may well be the case that Betfair will organise some sort of goodwill for the affected players but at this stage there is nothing confirmed.

Thanks Bully, I went out on the actual bubble and was just wondering if others were able to blind me out. I'd feel a little hard done by if that were the case.

Normally when a game is cancelled, the remaining players get a cut of the prize pool according to their chipstack but in this case I notice there was a definite payout.

Well they ignored a sensible request to either reduce the starting stacks or blind levels, so it's anyones guess. You can stay up till gone midnight on a schoolnight, final table, and come away with about £18.

Fair enough its a promo freeroll, but given the prizemoney and that the majority of players are recreational, it seems crazy for  the game to run on past one in the morning.
