Although I hope this doesnt happen, Im assuming Betfair will move to Ipoker also because Ipoker is splitting into 2 on September 1st with the big skins on Ipoker2 i.e Will Hill, PaddyPower, Titan etc and the smaller skins on their own. Cant see betfair staying on Ongame. Anyone here lay me a bet that they move to Ipoker?

There might be a plus.
Apparantly Zynga want to buy Ongame. If this happened they would be huge. |

Apparently you've never played at an ipoker site |

could be worse, could end up on the boss network

Ive been playing on ipoker for the last week or so, and really don't like it.

Because Stars is so much slicker, a lot of the good multi tablers play there which doesn't make the STT's such good value. I come up against one who plays $3.50 to $100 STT's at a decent ROI, it makes a lot of sense for me to avoid him. I know another that is making a living playing $7 STT's. I-Poker, Ongaming and Boss all have their problems but there are plenty of fish that swim in these waters. I play on an I-Poker skin which has a tournament every night that has an overlay. The software might suck but that overlay makes it worth playing.

ipoker is an utter abortion of a network, if Betfair go there they are mental!
Boss network is a joke more liquidity in my Nana's twinkle. You can wait all day for one STT to start! Entraction network would be a better choice as software is basic but effective but that is now dying on it's feet with all guarantees dropping like a stone. Microgaming's software is fairly decent but haven't played there for ages so know feck all about liquidity there. |

I'd love betfair to move to the merge network. Their software, bar stars, is the best in the industry and they recently had an upgrade making it even better. Traffic is rising and peak hours you will get on average 10-12k players. I agree about Ipoker, its awful in every way. But maybe betfair will stay with Ongame because rumour has it Zynga are interested in buying the software.

What is Ongame's traffic at peak times if Merge has 10-12k players ?

Ongame would be fine if they could get the bloody thing to work, and introduced a few basics like synchronised breaks and late registration.

Bwin still owns ongame but Bwin players use party?

Bwin are still using Ongame software but are moving shortly to Party
