Hey peoples - nearly four or five months since i last started a thread on this exciting forum!
Anyways, those of you who are keen to join me, i will be flying
Gatwick to Cork @ 16.55hrs on Thursday 11 October and
returning Monday 15 October from Cork to Stansted at 8.10am
Total cost with ryan air was £58.60 but Im not taking luggage with me!!

I'm definitely going, though will be flying from East Mids, as ryanair have just started to fly to Cork from there. Only drawback or bonus is that they dont have a flight on Monday, so it'll be a 5 day trip for me.
Transfers and Taxis are expensive there, but you can get a bus from outside the airport to the middle of Cork for 8 euros return. I stayed at the Ashley Hotel for my recent excursion to the APAT irish open (not recommended). Looking at Jurys Inn which seems very reasonably priced when booked at the same time as your flight through ryanair. Looking forward to your company Mr. Klup and no doubt a few more old friends. |

East midlands is deffo the better airport for me too, but coming back on Tuesday was really adding to the cost through hotel and also thought what could i possibly do on a monday in cork on my own? :-) |
